This recipe is in the More Takeaway Secrets recipe book, and it tastes fabulous! Here is my version here. The 2nd book seems to be as good as the first!

Love your blog...going to try the twix biscuits this week i think. Thanks!

NettoSuperstar · 12/06/2012 10:22

I want to try it with butterscotch chips that my friend has (hopefully) brought me back from America.
I found a slow cooker creme brulee recipe that I want to try this weekend.

JimmyMacWhenAreYouComingBack · 12/06/2012 11:01

Sounds interesting! Ive never actually tasted creme brulee, whats it like?

Delicious, creamy and vanillay.
I've never made it though.

GherkinGobbler · 16/06/2012 17:29

I can do complicated, however, I don't, as I lose the will to live half way through, get pissed off and don't enjoy itGrin

PissyDust · 22/06/2012 22:58

Jen, your blog is great Smile

Can you suggest some easy,, non time consuming cold dishes I can make in advance to take to a BBQ get togeather on Saturday? I know I'm being a cheeky cahh btw Grin

NettoSuperstar · 23/06/2012 11:35

I think you probably meant the other Jen, but I'm about anyway!
I made this last night which would work well with barbecued food.
Also a potato salad, using small new potatoes, skins left on, dressed with lemon juice, olive oil and dijon mustard whilst still warm.
Snip some chives over.
Coleslaw is great with a dressing made from natural yoghurt, mayo and cider vinegar.
I made a grated carrot salad recently, which was just the carrots, natural yoghurt and garlic mixed though.
All really easy and can be made ahead of time.

These are my BBQ recipes fom the blog BBQ recipes - not much there just yet because of this manky weather!!!

I'm guessing this will be ok to hand mix, as my electric whisk has died on me!

LOVE the blog! Thanks

JimmyMacWhenAreYouComingBack · 23/06/2012 16:10

Yeah I am sure it will be fine to hand mix like you would any other cookie doigh :)
