7 Year Olds birthday HELP!!!

I have a 7 year old girl who is generally a chilled, happy go lucky kind of child and because of her chilled nature does not have any strong views on what toys she likes...... We have her 7th birthday approaching fast and am wanting some ideas. I am getting a little fed up of the 5 min wonder toys and wondered if anyone had any ideas for something a little longer lasting. For her birthday last year we got two guinea pigs which I must say were the best thing ever... we fully embraced them and they are definitely part of the family.. We also have a dog so unfortunately no more pets..... I don?t want to go computer games route either.... hmmmmmmmmmm suggestions would be appreciated!! Thx Mandy

Does she have a bike?

Something to use outside like a trampoline/climbing frame/badminton set?

An 'adventure' ie: if she likes animals a 'zoo keeper' for the day sort of thing?

Season ticket to the zoo?

Things On Wheels always a good bet as a 'big present' - bike/microscooter/roller skates.

Additional to Ragwort's suggestions: big paddling pool. If she likes that sort of thing, a good K'nex kit or lego (proper stuff not over-themed sets) - my DD is 13 and still plays with hers a lot.

If she's at all musical, a nice recorder (various other instruments may be apt)

Depends what she likes. We try to go the way of "forever" toys if possible or not even toys. Dd1 is 6 and last birthday we bought her one of the vtech digital cameras it has been a great hit the last 6 months and hopefully more.

Other ideas:
dressing up outfits
face paints with book and extra paints gold, glittery can be bought to add to
proper dolls house, again can be added to
with furniture etc
if tomboy, castle/pirate ship etc.
sewing box with lovely threads, beads, fabrics, can be added to
toys for the garden, if you have them?
play tent
