I think I'm the first - birthday party avoidance - I should be icing fairy cakes but instead, simple summer soup and yummy tomato tart

Had never heard of a bibble until today! Is there something wrong with me?

Not sure why anyone thinks the genius aspect of Asperger's is a myth but an interesting point nonetheless. My son has high functioning autism and certain aspects of his 'make up' very definitely have that 'genius' touch. His phenomenal memory, his ability to recall huge chunks of film scripts/plots. The way he can focus on something which interests him for hours and hours but has no idea how much money is worth (he's 10). He's currenly writing one of his own comic books, heavily influenced by his interest in American cartoons and British comic books. Would be interested to hear why you think the whole Asperger's/autism/genius thing doesn't exist.

A suitable punishment - should a nanny step in if the parents are still there?

I'm currently trying to get my head around the huge choice of disposable nappies, before DC2 is born in the summer. Where I live (Northern Ireland) just doesn't seem that switched on in terms of suppliers. I'd be happy to be proved otherwise, though!
