Hi my daughter is 7 a Y3, 8 in July so nearly all her classmates are 9 in a couple of months, my problem is they all seem obsessed with telling their little girls about sex its not just that the problem is that the books (miriam stoppard) that have been recommended are telling girls 8 to 10 how fantastic sex is, not that it isnt, but surely all they need to know is how the egg gets there not about how fab it feels to get an erection and how great it feels to rub your cliterous, please know i am not a prude or religious ( I have 2 grown up children) but i feel upset that i am being pushed into telling her before another child does and that at the moment she is still hopping about naked and so are we! She hasnt asked any questions about puberty or sex. What do i do? Do i tell her or wait till she hears something then field the questions
