I have to say that I like to look at my stats and I really enjoy it when I see that people from different countries have visited my site. However, I am now starting to wonder if certain countries may be related to spam (very disappointing, may I add). Would software that is trying to spam show the country of origin? Is there any countries that are more likely to be spammers.

I can't say for sure with a blog as I never did get mine started properly, I was put off after realising someone we know was taking ideas I use for DDs stuff & sales & making it up to sell herselfHmm

but from Facebook & Ebay I would say YES - I had my FB account frozen as it had been hacked by spammers - showed up to FB as "unusual activity ( or similar phrase) from Venezuela, several friends had the same thing over a few weeks, all Venezuela - I then had the same thing happen a few days later with our paypal account, so seems it was after more than just spamming, as again it showed up as Venezuela - I expect there are other countries that trigger the shut down reaction from FB & PP too, but Venezuela is the one I know
