Avent bottles?

Spent £50 yesterday on new Avent bottles and every one leaks :(

I think the collars are too big for the upstand on the neck of the bottle.

They don't fit with avent breast pump either :(

WWYD?

Is it because the teats aren't in the collar properly? To let the air in I remember there had to be a bit of a gap - you sort of had to line them up properly.

If they're faulty then you can return them though.

Ah excellent!

I'm still traumatised by the trouble I had with Dr Browns, Tommee Tippee, Avent....

Glad you're sorted :)

I have some of those as well and completely baffled me when the rest weren't leaking and my pink ones were.
Just to let you know you're not alone Grin

I use these. If you do them up quite tightly to shake them then loosen it off slightly before feeding I find this helps. Let's some of the air out

You're not alone OP. I lost three bottles of breastmilk because I didn't understand that Avent bottles now come with two rings at the top of the bottle, not one like four years ago when I was feeding DD1.
It's all designed to fox knackered parents, I tell you. And as for the 431 piece breast pump .....
