Annual leave entitlement whilst on maternity leave

Hi all i need some help. I work for the nhs and work 30 hours a week over 4 days (mon-thurs). My annual leave was 23 days plus 8 bank hols. I would like to know if i accrue the bank hols that occur whilst i am off or just the annual leave element? I have tried contacting HR but they are in a meeting! Thanks for any help.

I think that you don't accrue bank holidays - you're getting them in your mat leave period anyway...

I think it all depends on when the bank holidays fall. I accrued bank holidays but only those which fell after I drooped down to statutory pay (I think) - it was all the ones after 18 weeks maternity leave.

You should be entitled to some.
