Recommendations for a Wrodpress theme

Hi,

I want to change my Wordpress theme and I wondered if anyone could recommend a good one? I want my posts to be listed with a 'read more' option on the home page so that long posts don't make the home page slow to load. I'd also like to be able to have some categories along the top so that people can click on particular areas they are interested in. Any help much appreciated!

Ooh, I can help you on the category front. It's a mystery I've been searching for an answer to for a while. Can you PM me your email and I can email the screen shot I was sent which helped me?

My blog is here and the them is Chateau I think, with the option to change the banner picture.

Not sure about the post thing though, I seem to recall that is something in the options rather than theme specific.

Just in case anyone is interested, the way of making your blog posts appear truncated on your homepage is by clicking on one of the icons when you get to the bit where you want the break to be. The icon looks a bit like a page that has been torn into two bits. And DillyTante managed to answer my category question so if anyone else wants to know - ask her, she's the don!
