Children's parties

Would you host a party for twelve 6 year olds on your own at a play centre. Bearing in mind most parents will leave their dc.
Was all set to book when dh said he probably wouldn't be able to be there. Thinking of trying for a weekend party instead or am I a wuss.

At home or a village hall or something no way, not totally solo, but at a play centre when there's staff on hand then probably. I'd more than likely ask a friend to come with me or ask one of the other parents to stay though.

Personally I would ask someone else to stay - for example if one child gets hurt/upset/throws up (it does happen!!) and needs a bit of attention for a while from you, then you have another pair of eyes/hands. Have never seen any play centre staff actually watching children either.

Not a wuss at all - 12 children is a lot.
