Can't find friend on fb

Used to occasionally speak to an old friend on fb. Haven't heard from her in a while. She's suddenly not in my friends list, or in any other friend's lists. I even counted up the number of friends in one friend's list and it was the number that it said. Would it show the correct number that it said was there, or would it show the number that aren't blocked? If you follow me. Umm... does that make sense?

can you talk to her face to face? or email or old fashioned writing.

perhaps she has deregistered
i spose it wouldnt show the right number if she had blocked you, if that is what you are getting at?

Someone suggested counting up the number of friends on a mutual friends list, eg. if it says 150 and only shows 149 then she might be blocked. But if so, wouldn't it state 149 in the first place to avoid confusion?

She was only an old aquaintance. Just feel a bit miffed that I've noticed my first ever block. I think.

She may have de-activated her account?

She might have done. But before she left her husband she was always on there boasting about her latest this that or other. When they broke up she was on there occasionally about her new house etc. Now she's gone.

I wonder if I've been blocked before and just haven't noticed?
