Odd bit of business: apparently BC is going to be a guest DJ on this website; Sam Neill's vineyard! I guess that means BC is in New Zealand for filming The Hobbit now, or will be soon. I've no idea what guest DJing on a website actually involves, but I'll be keeping an eye on it!

I would think he needs a slightly older woman, ie me.

He's definitely been in LA lately filming Star Trek, but as we don't know what role he is playing, it is perfectly possible that he is finished with filming already.

Reports suggest he will go to New Zealand from LA, but he may well be splitting his time between the 2 projects. As he's not a "lead", as it were, in either film he won't be needed on set all the time. I read that The Hobbit is due to wrap up in the Spring, so he'll certainly be out there fairly soon.

My sister was out there until quite recently. Given her track record, she may know someone who knows someone who knows something.

See, I think BC could do with a bit of a breather in between all this filming malarkey. So obviously he should pop by to see me for some nice relaxing time.

Although if I'm being completely honest, he wouldn't get much chance to relax. Recover in between - yes, relax - no.

The Beeb have put out some promo pictures for Parade's End which will be on BBC2 later this year.

Oh he looks so dashing seriously how does he do it? Every look of his is so utterly perfect no matter what century or character he's portraying.

He looks more handsome and less 'large and untidy' than Christopher Tietjens is described as. It's slightly odd casting IMO; Benedict can obviously do posh and stern enough, and no doubt can carry off the self-effacing aspect of the character, but he just looks a bit too ... svelte.

However. Benedict AND Rebecca Hall? (my girl crush)? BRING IT ON!

Meant to say that in that recent video there are quite a few close ups of his mouth. My word, his mouth is just beautiful. I would imagine - who am I kidding? - I have imagined that he's very very good with his mouth. Very talented.

And he seems to have quite big feet. Just saying.

Omg prey! That video looks amazing - and only seen about 2mins. Will have to catch up later as DP home, and sat across the room on the sofa. Phew.

May have to drag him upstairs (kids away tonight hurrah!) for some BC roleplay. In a roundabout way he's kind of been quite 'good' for us.

Completely agree Fluffymonster. My DH should be bloody grateful to BC.

Watched starter for 10 last night. Win win all round, dh loves Rebecca hall, BC was hilarious, all round good film :)

Sorry SeaShells. I was practising my "making people beg" technique (not really) for when I meet BC and I make him beg - more than twice!

The video is 13.5 minutes long and basically seems to be a collection of many photographs of BC fading from one to another set to different songs. Like I said, I'm only eight minutes in so I don't know if there's anything different in the last 5.5 minutes.

Imagine all the pictures that have been posted in this thread and the last one shown one after the other and you'll get the idea!

Well, that's strange. Back on the laptop this morning as DH has gone out with the DC. I've clicked the link in my post and it's the right one, but when I viewed on my iPod it's a different video.

Anyway, if you search YouTube for Benedict Cumberbatch "I'm Not A Fashionista", it should bring it up. Having said that, I searched for that on my iPod last night and it couldn't find it. Vair strange. Another mystery for Sherlock .
