There are so many fan-vids on YouTube, it's hard to find the ones that really merit a second look. But is quite special - I love the editing. And watch out for the BC expression at 1.53 - just a milli-second of perfection!

OK - I am confused. Radio Times says that guest host of tonight's HIGNFY is Jack Dee. According to this thread, it's BC. Now is the Radio Times wrong or have you lot been fantasising again?

Cos if I turn on the TV expecting and get this, I will be SO not impressed!

The BBC2 schedule page says its Benedict. I hope that should be the most up-to-date?

The info on the tv guide says its BC as well. Well I hope it is because I've got it on record.

Sky guide on my iPod says BC as well. Plus it's Have I Got A Bit More News For You so it's 45 minutes instead of 30. 15 extra minutes of BC - at least it'd better be BC.

My TV guide on the TV (iyswim) says BC as well. Have set it to record and living in hope.

Loved the interview with French and Saunders - just wish they'd let him speak a bit more! They kept cutting him off! Mind you, I'd be rubbish at interviewing him cos I'd just sit and gaze at him, listening to that wonderful voice

Oh dear. I am so going to get flamed for this but am I the only one who can only see Benedict as the sleazy Paul Marshall from Atonement.

No flaming boogie, but I do prescribe nothing but Sherlock and YouTube videos to fix your problem.

Boogie - not seen Atonement but have seen a clip of him offering a girl chocolate and telling her that she needs to bite it. I think what's worse than only thinking of BC as Paul Marshall is actually finding that part quite "oh my".

I hope that if I watched the film, I'd see it all in context and be appropriately creeped out and not turned on.

Just switched over to BBC2 for a quick BC hit. I promise there isn't a big lick mark down the tv screen. Honest.

Fuck me. DH is in the next room watching some boxing. He's just knocked on the glass in the door - frightening me half to death - and shouted "quick, put BBC2 on". I said okay and then "oh yes I see". DH said "he looks a bit different doesn't he?"

Well, not different to the many pictures I've been looking at or this show that I've seen on YouTube.

Not sure how I'll explain it being recorded now if DH notices.

I haven't watched it yet it's recorded and sitting there waiting. Will have to try and get it on without it seeming like I purposely put it on record.

Watching it now, skipping through the boring bits I.e anything that's not him!
In the odd one out round he says my first name! I can now add that to my memory bank of lovely things BC says, Oooh I can think of many occasions he might use my name

Luckily I'd seen the youtube clip about five dozen times so I didn't actually faint on the spot. I haven't mentioned to DH yet that he's top of 'my list' as I want to be able to watch this stuff without the snarky comments.

It did give me a warm glow to think of the joy the other BCAS members felt last night - and maybe some BC dreams at long last.

I saw Third Star the other night. Loved it. So sad and uplifting and beautiful.

I might watch HIGABMNFY now. DH has gone out with DS1. DS2 is asleep on the settee because he's full of a cold. I'm going to do the ironing. Is it wrong to be lusting over watching BC with poorly DS2 behind me?

Incidentally, did you see him constantly twiddling something between his fingers on HIGABMNFY? Bloody hell, those fingers!
