Hope this meets with your approval. It was getting a bit full on the other thread so we've extended and now need to decorate the new space.

For the walls.

Don't know if this has been posted here yet, but according to ym Sky tv guide, teh episode of HIGNFY with BC as host is on BBC2 on sat night. In the absence of my bleeding Sherlock dvds I shall have to watch it and sky plus it so I can watch over and over

LetUsPrey · 16/02/2012 21:37

I have set it to record. Think I'll have to watch it alone as a) DH will ask why I have specifically recorded it and b) I will be smiling like an idiot all the way through and not just at the funny bits.

Saltire · 16/02/2012 21:40

I am tempted to delete all DH sky+ recording in retaliation for him takingMY shelock dvd swith him, however given that he's going off somewhere not too safe for 6 months, I might let him off

CaveMum · 16/02/2012 21:40

Can I just point out that the man BC blames for his school nickname (BendyDick Cum-on-my-baps) - Nick Luck- I know him Grin! That makes me pretty darn close to BC Grin

Well, when I say know him, I've met him twice (I work in Horseracing and he's one of the Channel 4 racing presenters). I know someone that used to work with him until very recently (she said he's a knob!), AND my boss has his mobile number Grin.

LetUsPrey · 16/02/2012 21:41

I love his hair in those group shots promoting War Horse. He certainly stands out in those shots doesn't he?

Saltire is he off to a "sandy climate"?

[DH is waving one of his flights off to Afghan from Brize tonight]

Grin

Well, they filmed the last scene of The Great Game at the swimming pool I failed to learn learned to swim at, so, um, that counts in the "Cavemum goes first" column, right???

[clutches at straws]

LetUsPrey · 16/02/2012 22:15

Mine and BC's birthdays are a month apart. I am less than two inches shorter than him, with similar build. We have the same taste in music. He would choose sex over money, so would I with him. He has a very sweet tooth, so do I.

I'm sure there's more but it's difficult to type whilst clutching at straws à la CaveMum.

He went to boarding school and I was...bored at school?

OK it's tenuous I admit.

To attempt to settle the hair colour discussion, this photo and this photo were taken as promos for Hawking when he was just starting to get bigger roles. It is, according to Cumberbatchweb, his natural colour.

Fluffymonster · 16/02/2012 23:25

Ooh...I'd say dark brown/Auburn is a pretty fair description if that's the case? Not that it matters. He's lovely no matter what colour his hair is. Great photos!

Anyway I haven't got anything else to add so am off to bed - g'night all!

Fluffymonster · 16/02/2012 23:34

Oh just popped back in to say I love the Little Red Hen vid! How many of us have fantasised about BC being the father of our kids I wonder?

I played it to my 2 and 4yo the other week. They liked it. And of course so did I. [guilty emoticon]

Right. Off to bed.

DesperateHousewife21 · 17/02/2012 07:20

Yes! I imagined him reading it to our dcs. Oh god it just makes me love him even more.

I've put HIGNFY on record tomorrow, don't know what to say to dh when he inevitably asks, maybe I'll just mumble something about not seeing this one and it's meant to be v funny.

LetUsPrey · 17/02/2012 07:30

Don't think DH'll notice it in our planner. He's never said anything about the various episodes of Deadly 60/360 on there which DS1 doesn't seem to be that bothered about any more!

Ahem - when we are talking about who's first in the queue, may I just remind you of the English teaching job at Harrow which I am qualified to apply for which means I could theoretically teach at the school he used to attend and therefore walk along corridors along which he used to walk?

So how close does that make me to him? Practically married, I would say! Grin

Cavemum yes he is and I am relying on you lot to keep me occupied for 6 months! Grin

Fluffymonster · 17/02/2012 10:38

Bit of a cheesey 'happy birthday' fanvid but I love his smiles in this one, and some really lovely images.

Does anyone else find him extraordinarily graceful? I think part of the reason he's been so compelling as Sherlock, is BC's ability to move like poetry in motion. Moves Like Jagger

And how he effortlessly plays with props. You can tell he's good with his hands. Ahem.

Fluffymonster · 17/02/2012 10:48

Actually you can't have a link to Sherlock twiddles without the Vatican Cameos, gun toting one! Try this. Grin

Right. Must drag myself away...oh when will this obsession end lol.
