Hope this meets with your approval. It was getting a bit full on the other thread so we've extended and now need to decorate the new space.

Bloody DH is away for 3 weeks on a course and he has taken MY Sherlock DVDs with him.
I shall have to hide them under my pillow so he cannot take them when he goes away for 6 months!

IAmSherlocked · 16/02/2012 13:43

Well, Saltire - this is MN, and if ever there were grounds for saying this, you just gave 'em so I say:

Leave the bastard!

Grin at Leave the bastard!

DesperateHousewife21 · 16/02/2012 16:01

Haha leave the bastard and take back your Sherlock!

letusprey I now have BC in my head saying 'I'm going to fuck you' omg he could make me melt on the spot amongst other things

Fluffymonster · 16/02/2012 16:14

No worries LadyClarice! Smile

I think it's funny how opinions can be divided about how he looks sometimes, even amongst his fans!

It illustrates how versatile and charismatic he is really. He doesn't have just one 'look' - he can do beautiful alpha male, ethereal and byronesque, sophisticated, blokey, laddish, geeky, young, old. His appeal is quite wide-ranging, and I'm sure that's in no small way down to an immense amount of acting talent and being able to 'inhabit' whatever he's trying to portray.

We've all just fallen under some sort of universal spell!

CaveMum · 16/02/2012 16:24

And don't forget the ginger! Not many ginger sex symbols around.

He looks like sex on legs whatever he does, with the possible exception of the monster in Frankenstein. I'm not saying I'd kick him out of bed for looking like that, but let's be honest it's not exactly appealing Grin

Fluffymonster · 16/02/2012 16:50

CaveMum His hair is REALLY ginger isn't it? I was watching the Frankenstein 'Dramatic Need' Q&A vids on youtube and it's almost bright orange there, and he was in trackie bottoms and trainers. Yet...I love watching him in those vids too, he's so funny, self-deprecating, passionate about what he does, intelligent, and comes across as a lovely person. I probably could fancy him as The Creature lol! In fact, am eagerly awaiting the chance to get a ticket for an encore screening of Frankenstein, having missed it all the first time around!

It's weird because once upon a time, I did think he was pretty odd-looking, and could totally see the resemblance to Sid the Sloth from Ice Age.

As it happens, I can still see the sexy-sloth connection, but now I don't think he looks odd at all - he's just unusually beautiful, rather than conventionally 'good-looking'.

DesperateHousewife21 · 16/02/2012 17:04

Yes there aren't many actors that can pull off any look buy he really can. I think he's gorgeous whatever he looks like, particularly when he's wearing...not much at all!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 16/02/2012 17:05

I'm not sure that that the hair from the Frankenstein period is his natural colour ? I think left to its own devices it's more of a pale reddish-brown (he's called it 'auburn' in the past euphemism)Grin.

Not that I care. I'd have him any which colour/style.

Oops sorry cross-posted

Fluffymonster · 16/02/2012 18:08

I have actually watched the Frankenstein trailer quite a few times...and think even that is great, is that sad?

CaveMum · 16/02/2012 18:52

This is a fab interview with BC on Alan Carr's show about a year ago.

LetUsPrey · 16/02/2012 19:00

I do not normally look like this ---> Grin at work.

This afternoon I did look like this ---> Grin because I was looking at this and picturing various scenarios in my head. So relieved no one asked what I was smiling about!

DesperateHousewife21 · 16/02/2012 20:29

letusprey I posted that second pic on the last thread, either that one or a v similar one in the stables with a horse.
The horse would certainly get an eyeful if I was there!
