Just marking my place ? nothing to add really. Oh, except, for anyone in London, the V&A are showing a recording of Benedict in Hedda Gabler some years ago, in which he starred with the fantastic Eve Best. Info on the V&A website is v sketchy but there's a PDF on the web. I don't know how or if you can do a link to a PDF, so just google 'Hedda Gabler V&A' and you'll see one called 'Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the National Video Archive'.

It's a very short clip, but the cane and the slightly shy smile definitely do it for me. Thanks for the new thread btw. I had been trying to resist the temptation to post, but as dh looked at me slightly accusingly yesterday and said I was a cumberbitch, I see no point in remaining in denial!

Benedict in a Suit - Esquire Photoshoot

Sorry Fluffy, but I've always thought that photoshoot was really odd and unflattering. The trousers are too short and the jacket is hanging weirdly and looks too big for him. His hair is appalling (and I LIKE him with messy hair, but there are limits). LadyClarice - must admit I posted that in a hurry as didn't want to rock up and not contribute lol. So it was the first one I saw just now - I think he still looks lovely, but yes the suit doesn't fit him as well as it might.

Had I known the calibre of posts I'd have tried harder - I hang my head in shame!
