Hope this meets with your approval. It was getting a bit full on the other thread so we've extended and now need to decorate the new space.

For the walls.

slumberbatched - ah the elusive BC dream! I'm probably too obsessed in my waking hours, for my subconcious to have to do any surreptitious reminding.

Lovely pic.

Smophette · 14/03/2012 15:18

slumberbatched- that pic is lovely. Really feeling the jacket Grin

LetUsPrey · 14/03/2012 18:11

Hello slumberbatched.

I'm with FluffyMonster in that my head is pretty much full of BC for large parts of the day so stepping away from the thread would be pointless. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Nice picture by the way. Notice the way one of his shirt buttons isn't quite fastened properly? He must've got dressed in a hurry. Sorry about that Grin.

Hi ladies!

I just saw this on IMDB. A lucky fan went to the open day at BBC Wales and got to sit in the Sherlock chairs! And touched the PSOS!!!

Very very Envy

LetUsPrey · 15/03/2012 12:51

I am having a crap awful day at work so far. I am not even going to click on the link because people are already looking nervous. You know, like they need to remove all sharp objects from my reach. I feel the links would just tip me over the edge.

I need some BC photos. I'm going to see what I can find on this thread.

Laterz.

Can't believe they aren't even starting filming the next series of Sherlock until next year Sad . I may have actually worn out my dvd's of series 1 and 2 by then with over-use. As yummy as all the other pics are, it's still really as Sherlock that he does it for me. I can't even imagine to what fever-pitch of excitement we will all have wound ourselves up by the time series 3 actually comes out...
In the meantime, not sure if anyone's already posted this .

holmessweetholmes · 15/03/2012 13:06

Or this

LetUsPrey · 15/03/2012 13:17

Thanks holmessweetholmes. Starting to feel a teeny bit better. Smile

Bugger. Just read that back and it sounds ever so slightly big-headed Blush.

I wasn't saying the links were posted just for me - just that I'm very grateful.

That's the spirit, LetUsPrey! I'm not sure I'd notice the difference between a good day and a bad day at work at the moment, as I wander around in my bc-induced reverie Grin . Am wondering how I could base a Year 8 French lesson on Sherlock somehow, so that I can continue to look at pictures of BC while actually teaching. Hmmm - probably not very easily.

holmessweetholmes · 15/03/2012 13:46

X-posted! No Blush necessary, LetUsPrey. Anyway, considering all that time I was lurking and enjoying the lurvely links you have posted, it was the least I could do! Glad you have cheered up a bit.

IAmSherlocked · 15/03/2012 16:16

Who else liked the slogan on one of those links: I like my men the way I like my tea: hot and British Grin

CaveMum · 15/03/2012 17:18

BC nominated for an Olivier Award.

You can buy tickets to the Awards ceremony here but they are £90 each Shock

LetUsPrey · 15/03/2012 19:21

I have been known to use a similar saying when pissed. I like my tea like I like my men - hot, strong and sweet. I may add British in there.

I will mention the awards to one of my sisters. She doesn't work in The Meeja but it would probably one of those things where we're talking about it and she says she's got/can get tickets. Envy

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 15/03/2012 19:24

would probably be one of those things

Oh and Cabin Pressure - they're all brilliant! Up to S2 Ep6. The Ipswich one with the training course nearly had me crying with laughter. I found it difficult to get my breath at some points! I'm starting to think I shouldn't be driving whilst I'm listening to them.

Glad you're still loving the CP Prey. 'Tis truly a work of genius Grin

TheAddict · 15/03/2012 23:49

A bit off topic, but just had to share this... I was about to say I hoped that I wouldn't offend anyone, but is that possible on this thread? Smile
Went for girly drinks after work with friend (we have an office plastered with photos of BC, so not really off topic); after the usual BC drool we started to reminisce - as you do - about Unfortunate Encounters With Men, and I started on the story about me being trapped in an alleyway with an overexcited and v drunk male Bi friend - and then we had a Study In Pink Moment... I got to the denoument, lowered my voice (so as not to disturb other diners), leant towards said girly friend and quoted from the Bi friend 'I say, I've always thought you have a magnificent bosom and I'd rather like to have sex with you' (not good as a line of seduction? Bit not good) and she started to giggle - then we realised that the waiter was standing right behind us and smirking...
May have to find new restaurant for girlie nights out. In any case there is nothing remotely interesting about the bottom third of the door handle.

LetUsPrey · 16/03/2012 07:20

TheAddict - was your post by any chance written just after returning from said night out? Grin Love the bit about "bit not good" (one of my favourite lines) and the bottom third of the door handle.

TheAddict · 16/03/2012 07:57

Prey:

TheAddict would like it known that she is in no need of paracetamol. I'm not hung over, I'm a fully partially vaguely functioning - erm - somewhat functioning human type thing ..... wanders off in search of caffine and wonders why killer heels are in the fridge

LetUsPrey · 16/03/2012 08:12

TheAddict · 16/03/2012 08:52

TheAddict would also like it known that, in the unlikely event that she had been trapped in an alleyway by an overexcited and v drunk BC, she would certainly not have clipped him round the ear with her handbag and uttered words to the effect of 'Go Away'.

So many missed opportunities.

holmessweetholmes · 16/03/2012 13:34

Stuck at home with ill ds, but this cheered me up a bit. Have seen some of those pics before, but particularly like the colour one in the middle with him sitting on the hay bale. Theaddict - that last alleyway scenario certainly sounds preferable!

LetUsPrey · 16/03/2012 13:57

holmessweetholmes - I think that's my favourite photo shoot of BC because he's just so .. so ..
