Hope this meets with your approval. It was getting a bit full on the other thread so we've extended and now need to decorate the new space.

For the walls.

Autumn 2012 for Parade's End. Someone else may be along later with more definite news.

Which picture do you have on your laptop?

Thank you for the lovely photos, Sea Shells Dreaming Of Summer, and the comments about the man cage and banoffee pie had me in stiches, Let Us Prey. I am finishing off work, and then sitting down to watch another episode of 'The Last Enemy' on YouTube. Had wanted to see the start of 'TTEOTE' but decided to finish the one I am watching first. It is very good. The kissing scenes posted mostly come form there. The actress looks a bit like a boy! Weird! Have a good evening everyone in Cumberbatch land...

SeaShellsDreamingOfSummer · 12/03/2012 20:01

Just got to "the game, Mrs Hudson, is on" love love love Sherlock

class="underline">m0dixg578e1qif4j2o1250.jpg delicious this is the one I have on my laptop, Let Us Prey. It's my current favourite. That mouth, those eyes. And the shirt and suit. Entirely distracted me throughout a meeting today! Apologies in advance if link doesn't work - my phone isn't behaving, and will probably double post again. Grr. If it doesn't work, I'll have to post it tomorrow - dh is on the computer atm!

Just been watching and documentary. The scenery in that film is so beautiful, (and BC not bad either Grin).

I liked the bit where JJ Field (who played Miles), mentioned that the actors stayed in a cottage and took turns doing the cooking etc., it sounds like a boys camping trip off-set as well! The actors literally 'mucked in' by helping to clear away dung on the location they were filming - BC jokingly saying he would use it to publicise "how down to earth and involved I am". Also a couple of seconds of him larking about in the water, pretending to try and do the Jennifer Grey bit, while trying to get one of the other actors to do Patrick Swayze - a la the 'lift' in Dirty Dancing.

Fluffymonster · 12/03/2012 22:14

Love this clip of .

holmessweetholmes · 12/03/2012 22:21

Ok my link didn't work, so let's try again . I hope it works - I just love this picture.

LetUsPrey · 12/03/2012 22:24

Can't believe I forgot to watch the extras on the Third Star DVD!!!! That's my Saturday morning sorted.

Which Cabin Pressure is that Fluffy? I'm up to the beginning of S2 Ep2 (I think) flying the chamber orchestra to Gdansk. Loved the last one of S1 when BC and Stephanie Cole are drunk. Think the very first episode is my favourite so far.

Fluffymonster · 12/03/2012 22:40

Holmessweetholmes - lovely pic!

'Prey, according to the blurb on the Cabin Pressure link (by the fab Romangirl88), it's from series 3 ep 1.

She also posted up the Third Star documentary, and mentions "As the DVD surprisingly doesnt have the full behind the scenes here it is in two parts", so it might be a shorter version that you have. How strange not to put the full version in.

LetUsPrey · 12/03/2012 23:00

Lush picture hsh!

Will check DVD case tomorrow morning. DH is still downstairs and I could do without the conversation that would follow me taking said case off the shelf. There's always YouTube!

Night all. Sweet BC filled dreams

At least my link finally worked. Can't believe we have to wait until autumn for Parade's End. Ah well, am also looking forward to TTSS and The Last Enemy, which are on my Lovefilm list. Dh raised an eyebrow about me putting The Last Enemy on the list, but he admitted the review sounded good. How I will stay calm and unflustered while watching the steamier scenes in it remains to be seen... Blush .

sloppygirl · 13/03/2012 09:56

Saw the Last Enemy final episode last night. ( Been rationing them). I can not believe how good BC looks, even in a horrid beige mac! Do watch it. The acting is great from all the cast. Some lovlely tender scenes too.

Still waiting for my Sherlock DVD from Daily Mail 5 weeks from when I sent tokens! Has anyone else had a long wait? Not sure whether to chase them up. I fear it has gone to wrong address, and someone else is enjoying the delightsd of BC and MF !

By the way, Starter for Ten on BBC at 11.30 on Monday night, 19th March. Will set the recorder.

SurferRosa · 13/03/2012 16:23

Love that picture holmessweetholmes.

sloppygirl - my mom and dad's DVD only came last Friday so there's hope yet.

Without lowering the tone - ahem - is the monster nude at the start of Frankenstein? Not that it would decide which performance I tried to book for you understand Grin

exexpat · 13/03/2012 17:03

Surfer - I gather that the creatures are not naked for either of the filmed versions of Frankenstein, so that they can be classified as a 12 or 15 rather than 18 and so that thousands of pervy women aren't all staring at one spot on the screen rather than appreciating the play properly.

And I just saw on twitter that filming for Sherlock series 3 won't even start until early 2013, so who knows when it will actually be screened. I suppose it's because BC and Martin Freeman are so busy with other projects, but I for one would rather have more Sherlock sooner than just have BC's voice as a dragon. I'm sure he'll make a wonderful sexy dragon, though.

SurferRosa · 13/03/2012 18:05

Thanks exexpat - not that I'm a pervy woman of course Grin.

Don't want to think about waiting that long for a new Sherlock fix.

LetUsPrey · 13/03/2012 19:26

I am ignoring all Frankenstein talk as I won't be able to go and see it. Envy

Something to look forward to as far as The Hobbit is concerned, besides the actual film of course, is that BC is doing the motion capture for Samug the Dragon so I'm thinking a Making Of special with BC in a rather fitted outfit.

Have set Starter for 10 to record.

sloppygirl · 13/03/2012 19:40

Thanks Surfer Rosa for advice on Sherlock DVD. My in-laws collected all the tokens, so I really hope it comes! (They put in a great deal of effort. I said it was for my son!)

It is going to be a good BC few days. The documentary on Saturday and the film on Monday. Yipee.

Shame the film versions are not nude. Still, it will be nice to see something of his body, even if one of the best bits is hidden!! ( sigh ). That is assuming I can get tickets. Still awaiting Vue alert, although they are on sale at local small film clubs, but dates no good for me.

CaveMum · 13/03/2012 21:36

Boooo for 2013 filming! Sad

Prey, they're putting up production videos for The Hobbit in You Tube. They're all official like and there have been 6 so far. Each one is about 10 mins long and while there has not been any sign of BC so far he may well appear in future. Either way they're worth a watch if you're a fan of The Hobbit.

LetUsPrey · 13/03/2012 21:41

Thanks for that CaveMum. I see what you say about the production videos. Hmm I think what I'll do is perhaps wait until they do one featuring BC doing some voice recording motion capture for the part of Smaug and then watch them all at once. Yes, I think that would be the best course of action.

rushes over from twitter, panting for breath, and sounds Cumberklaxon

BC's guest DJ session at Sam Neil's vineyard is up

I hazard a guess that there will be lots of updating of iPods going on over the next day or two? Anyone for Wagner?

LetUsPrey · 13/03/2012 23:10

Did I hear the Cumberklaxon?

No Mumford and Sons??! Benedict, I'm shocked.

I shall forgive him. Bet he's relieved about that.

Hello all, I'm delurking to give a tip to all of those seeking the elusive BC dream. Step away from the thread for a while Shock.

I was lurking here for ages, but my attention has been drawn away recently. My subconscious was clearly missing BC and lo, he appeared in my dreams last night. And very nice it was too Grin.

slumberbatched · 14/03/2012 14:30

Very sorry, I should have contributed to the thread - here you go. My favourite from a quick trawl of the Cumberbatchweb tumblr.

Blimey, thought I'd got away from all this, but I'm right back into it, oops Grin

Fluffymonster · 14/03/2012 14:42

exexpat - oooh! He's got a wide and eclectic taste in music hasn't he? Somehow that doesn't surprise.

Love the choice of 'Sorrow' as his karaoke song. Omg Astral Weeks. Also, been listening to James Rhodes' Debussy - Clair de Lune. [waltzing around my handbag in the Dayglo Disco...]

Can this man get any more attractive? Nope. Don't think so.
