Hope this meets with your approval. It was getting a bit full on the other thread so we've extended and now need to decorate the new space.

For the walls.

Ha ha seashells!! I'm sure the PSOS appears in Hounds of Baskerville too!

CaveMum · 05/03/2012 11:53

Booo! The Cumberbatch lost out in that "Most Crushworthy Poll" by less than 400 votes.

He lost to some bloke I've never heard of, a blond pretty boy. Yeuch! Not worthy to lick BC's shoes.

LetUsPrey · 05/03/2012 13:35

Okay, why is everyone having norty BC dreams except me? S'not fair.

The PSOS does indeed appear in The Hounds of Baskerville. I know this because I was watching it on Saturday evening and I commented "ooh the Purple Shirt of Sex". Fortunately DH was out of the room at the time.

I'm not getting dreams either. I'm having to make do with filthy daydreams - a couple of minutes hours here and there makes work more enjoyable and my boss thinks I'm such a happy soul Grin

LetUsPrey · 05/03/2012 13:59

Haha SurferRosa - I know what you mean. I have a picture taped to my pc at work - let's call it the "I'm going to take you into the stables" picture Wink. Every so often, I'll look at it and smile.

As far as the dreams are concerned, I did have a dream about BC but it wasn't norty. He was sitting in an armchair and looked to be doing a crossword/puzzle thing. I offered to help. I ended up sitting on his knee, touching his neck and I think his arms were round my waist. Fully clothed though. And I think he had his "Sherlock hair". I prefer him with ginger hair but to be honest I wouldn't be that picky in reality! Grin

Ah the "stables" picture . . . (drifts into Cumberland again).

LetUsPrey · 05/03/2012 19:00

I listened to the first episode of Cabin Pressure on the way home. Absolutely bloody hilarious! Can anyone smell smoke? The writing and acting were both fabulous. Might not be such a good idea to laugh quite so much whilst driving though.

CaveMum · 05/03/2012 19:04

Glad you liked it Prey Grin
I listen to it most days, you've got some great episodes ahead. My personal favourite is probably Molokai, the Christmas episode, if only for Arthur's interpretation of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen Wink

Yellow car!

LetUsPrey · 05/03/2012 22:46

I now have the Sherlock music The Game Is On as my ringtone.

I also have a selection of text alerts: "we'll start with the riding crop"; "mmm bad cop"; "money or sex ... mmm sex"; and of course "a damn good shag"! Grin I can't, however, have these set when DH is around so I'll use them when I'm at work!

From the same writer as Cabin Pressure - John Finnemore - I thought this was pretty hysterical (even better if voiced by BC, but you can't have everything I suppose):

claraschu · 06/03/2012 04:54

For fellow lovers of Cabin Pressure, here is something else from John Finnemore.
It is about News of the World, so I hope not too serious, but also very funny.

LetUsPrey · 06/03/2012 19:15

Hello all. How is everyone? Welcome mammya (apologies if you're not new by the way, I'm finding it difficult to keep up!)

The John Finnemore NotW piece was brilliant.

I listened to Cabin Pressure ep 2 today - Boston. Fantastic!

And now let's have

Where is everyone?

I'll watch - an old favourite whilst I'm waiting.

Reverting to my dream of a few nights ago, I just knew there was something about it that didn't ring true: of course, one should never play Bach on a piano....

CaveMum · 06/03/2012 20:24

I'm here! Trying to get some coursework work done, but failing miserably!

LetUsPrey · 06/03/2012 21:11

Ha! Found you!

TheAddict - the issue with your dream is not the playing of Bach on a piano, but more the fact that if that were my dream I would be shagging BC on the piano. Grin

CaveMum - coursework? Really? Instead of BC? I'm disappointed in you.

OP posts:
CaveMum · 06/03/2012 21:15

I'm now watching Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. Is that better?!

I'll have my daily BC fix when I get in to bed (oh if only Wink): listening to more Cabin Pressure.

As penance, I will post this one again, even if it does feature "her" Grin

CaveMum · 06/03/2012 21:17

I've just realised, if you look at that picture carefully, she's not even looking at him Shock. She's staring off into the distance. What the jeff???!!! Is she insane??

LetUsPrey · 06/03/2012 21:41

They wouldn't have been able to publish the picture if I'd been in it with BC! It would have been far too rude. Wink

mammya · 07/03/2012 08:22

Hello, yes I am new on this thread, and I like BC but I am not such a big fan as you all obviously are! I wanted to post a link to that print that a friend of mine did, thought you might appreciate it...

LetUsPrey · 07/03/2012 08:37

Your friend is very talented!

Anyone else like the shades?

claraschu · 07/03/2012 11:34

Have you seen this interview with Moffatt? Interesting comments about Sherlock.

Fluffymonster · 07/03/2012 13:12

Hello! I'm still here! Just had a bit of enforced absence due to other half using the pc for a couple of nights (how dare he).

I'm enjoying the fanvids (and liking the shades very much, clarashu!).

Ordered 'Mystery Man' by Colin Bateman today. The guy in the bookstore said "It's really good, funny. It's a bit mad though - have you read any of his books before?" I mumbled something about "oh I've heard it's good that's all."

Thought it best not to mention it being a manifestation of acute Cumberfever.
