Hope this meets with your approval. It was getting a bit full on the other thread so we've extended and now need to decorate the new space.

For the walls.

It might be on YouTube. You have to then convert it to a sound file but I can't remember how to do this. I think it was CaveMum who posted instructions on the other thread so either she or someone else should be able to help.

Any luck Seraphine? Here's the youtube clip - it also has an mp3 link to it. I've no idea what you do with it though!

CaveMum · 04/03/2012 10:29

Morning all, the audio file thing is quite easy, just a bit time consuming. If you google "get audio from YouTube", you'll find instructions. It basically entails copying the YouTube link, posting it on a conversion website where an audio file is created and then saving it to your computer.
You can then google "create text alert/ringtone" for your phone type and hey presto.

As Prey says, I posted links on the last BC thread, do if you get stuck you can scroll through to find them Grin

Seraphine1 · 04/03/2012 10:42

Thanks guys! I'll go look for them. Husband is away this week - left this morning for Chicago - so we'll work on it when he comes back.

CaveMum · 04/03/2012 11:12

A few more Star Trek pics

Grin
Llareggub · 04/03/2012 11:18

I am new entrant to all that is Cumberbatch and I am in AWE and slightly wobbly....I naven't felt like this since my Bros days.

CaveMum · 04/03/2012 11:32

Welcome to the shrine Llareggub Grin

That feeling doesn't go away!

Please do post your favourite BC pics and videos, it doesn't matter if they've been put up before, they all warrant many many many viewings Wink

Seraphine1 · 04/03/2012 11:49

Hi Llareggub! Welcome!

IAmSherlocked · 04/03/2012 12:25

Do make sure you get to grips with the language, Llareggub:

cumbersurfing - browsing the net exclusively in search of all things BC related.
cumbernest - how you set the sofa up in order to watch back to back episodes of BC programmes.
cumberbitches - the BC fans on Twitter who BC beautifully commented might have set feminism back a few years with their name Grin

What have I missed?

Llareggub · 04/03/2012 12:45

I did quite a bit of cumbersurfing last night after Sherlock.

SeaShellsDreamingOfSummer · 04/03/2012 12:57

The verb 'cumberbatched'meaning 'grown woman reduced to a wobbly teenage hormonal mess by the words "a damn good shag" spoken by a beautiful talented BC'

LetUsPrey · 04/03/2012 13:21

Did someone say there were more Star Trek pictures? Grin I was looking forward this Star Trek film even without BC in it, so when you throw BC into the mix I get quite excited! I think special thanks will have to go to the wardrobe department for the cut of those trousers. Wink

Welcome Llareggub. All contributions are welcome!

SeaShells - or indeed any words spoken by him: I swear that man could sell me double glazing....

CaveMum · 04/03/2012 14:06

He could make a fortune as a con man! Women would just hand over their bank account details/pin numbers without hesitation Grin

LetUsPrey · 04/03/2012 14:17

I like to think he'd have to use some "methods of persuasion" on me first. Grin

I'm watching The Book Show about War Horse. Very interesting and was nearly in tears about what sort of prompted Michael Morpurgo to write it.

OP posts:
CaveMum · 04/03/2012 15:26

There's a programme about the "real" War Horses on Channel 4 tonight. Ex jockey and racing journalist Brough Scott is one of the contributors. His grandfather was a General in WWI and published a book about his experiences with his horse "Warrior". They've reissued the book and it's worth a read.

LetUsPrey · 04/03/2012 15:57

He was in the programme on Sky Arts too. Reassuring that I found the whole thing very interesting and didn't just want to fast forward to the bits with BC in. I'm not completely shallow after all!

OP posts:
CaveMum · 04/03/2012 21:39

Just watching HIGNFY.

Phwooaaar Grin

LetUsPrey · 04/03/2012 22:09

Couldn't agree with you more CaveMum!

I now have the first two series of Cabin Pressure on my iPod. The third series was part way through downloading to my laptop when my t'internet connection decided to not be a connection any more. It was at about 88% when pffttt. Bastard.

I'm going to have to go Cumbersurfing on YouTube and try to convert some sound clips to add to my 'phone.

I will return in a moment in a calmer state. Well, perhaps not calmer, more less irate. Smile

OP posts:
CaveMum · 04/03/2012 22:12

Now, now Prey. You know full well that cumbersurfing does not equate to a calm state. Quite the opposite in fact Wink

LetUsPrey · 04/03/2012 22:36
. Don't think this works properly on iPods, iPads, etc. It should be a photo commentary of BC's fashion - if that makes sense - and the music is (I think) Sunday Morning by Maroon 5.

Not watched all the way through but so far yum!

All better now. Off to bed.

DesperateHousewife21 · 05/03/2012 09:28

I'm still lurking getting my BC fix. All this ttc crap has got me preoccupied but am trying to keep up on here.

I bet I BC came round I'd get preg just by looking at him.

SeaShellsDreamingOfSummer · 05/03/2012 09:37

the result of random googling he is now urban legend !

TheAddict · 05/03/2012 09:48

Prey - thanks for the links: they've improved Monday morning considerably...

DesperateHousewife - it would take divine intervention for BC to get me preggers since the hysto (goes off into fantasy along the lines of 'pretty good fun trying, though .... faints, buckets of cold water, etc etc... but as I had the same hair colour in my youth we could have raised a litter of gingers ...faints, buckets of cold water, etc etc...

OH commented this morning that I'm not sleeping well at the moment - no, said I, just can't sleep, things on my mind - anything you want to share? he asked. No, not really....

Eventually drifted off into most interesting dream - details of which would probably cause keyboard to spontaneously combust - suffice it to say that it the more repeatable incident involved BC a la Sherlock arriving at open door of the flat I had in my students day whilst I was playing Bach on the piano...

TheAddict · 05/03/2012 09:51

The Addict would like to apologize for the various typos in her last post: I just can't think what was distracting me....
