Can I block friends from seeing comments I write on this groups wall?
Thanks

Opps.

Just realised my title doesn't make sense. Should say

there is a privacy setting. you need to tick the right box when y ou post.

There is for posting general status updates on my home page SB, but not when I am posting on the group or commenting on someone else on the group's post.

Does this mean it is down to how the group was set up?

I only post on 'private' groups for some stuff (locked icon, invite only) for this reason

Yes it depends how the group is set up. If the group is set to "closed" or "private" then nobody except group members will be able to see the posts.

Generally though, unless they're going on to the group's wall to read the posts, they shouldn't come across them because they won't get notified in their news feed. I don't get notified whenever any of my friends posts on a group, unless I am both friends with them AND a member of the group they've posted in.

It's a bit odd Bertie.
There are 5 of us in my family with FB accounts and a couple see my posts and a couple don't.
No obvious reason why. None of them are on the group, so I assumed they wouldn't see my posts, but 2 of them (so presumably other people too) are getting it come through on their live feed.

Is that the "stalker feed" in the top right above chat? I missed that out, it will show up there, but only if they happen to be logged in and on facebook at the time that you post the post/comment.

I tend to ignore it TBH after the initial outrage about it. I'm still not quite sure why they put it there, though.
