How do you know how many email subscribers you have?

I'm a blogger user. It tells me how many followers I have but how do I find out how many email subscribers I have?

I think it depends how you email to them. I use Feedburner to send out emails and there is a hyperlink to Feedburner on my page. When I press it, it takes me to their page and tells me how many email subscribers I have. Hope that helps. If I knew what your blog was I could have a look. Mine is www.crumbsfood.co.uk. Take a look and you should be able to see if it's similar.

As above but if you go directly to Feedburner then you can see your email subscribers by clicking on the name of your blog, then the subscribe tab, then scrolling down a little bit. If you click on the link below that says "manage your subscriber list" you can see exactly who has subscribed by email.

Typecast that's fantastic! Thanks for sharing the link and thanks to the OP for a great question. I had no idea how to do that and just assumed I couldn't. One happy blogger here Smile

I just have a subscribe button on it. Can't out myself alas as this is my username for personal stuff too.

Right, I've figured out how to put a button on my page and when I click on it I can see I've got some subscribers. But, who are they? Can I find that out? (I know one is my sister! Smile)

I was thinking about having a giveaway at some point to my members/subscribers but that would make it tricky if I couldn't identify them! I have the little icons of members at the bottom of my page.

Can someone enlighten me? www.trulymyrtle.blogspot.com
Thanks!

I think I've figured it out - a bit more clicking around did it!

JenniferJJ · 17/02/2012 09:03

Thanks for this, I had no idea you could see who your actual subscribers were!

My list of subscribers was actually one less than they said I had (not many to be fair!!!) so not sure what is going on there.

louhutt · 17/02/2012 18:02

Thanks everyone. I had no idea you could do this!

That is really useful, didn't even realise people had subscribed to my blog!
