Please help, I really need some unbiased advice.
Where to start ?? Well.
I live with my husband and 2 children. Husband working, eldest at school, youngest at home with me (SAHM).
Where we live is where the children were born, but my husband and myself have no emotional ties to the area, following a berevement. And now, I feel extremely unsettled here.
When I return to the area where I grew up, remaining there until well into my twenties and where we have family, I feel a very strong 'pull' to return.
Due to legal matters we have been unable, until now, to seriously consider our options. Over the course of what must be now the past 18 months, my husband and I have talked at great length, many times, about re-locating, I have his full support wherever we end up. My Eldest child has now come round to the idea of moving, baby too young to have an opinion. My own feelings on moving sway weekly, sometimes daily, and so, we remain, stuck !!
I have been researching schools. Looked at league tables, like you do !!! I was disappointed, as the percentages for success rates are better where we live now.
Now I'm worrying about moving the children, sacrificing their education, to satisfy my desire for inner peace and a support network.
What is the right thing to do ????
