Have you made any Facebook faux pas?

I wrote a post yesterday about the rules for parents and grandparents on Facebook. (www.theundercovergranny.co.uk/2012/01/the-rules-for-parents-on-facebook/).

It got me thinking, have any of you ever made any awful faux pas on Facebook? Or have your children ever told you off for your behaviour on it?

I'd love to hear some of your funny (or mortifying, I suppose) stories.

My brother unfriended my mum after she commented on one of his statuses telling him off about his attitude towards women. He is not the most tactful with the stuff he puts on there but it was a step too far for him.

My nephew is always deleting me for random comments on his status! Always re-excepts me though! It does put my oldest off putting his whole life on FB and he knows i'll read it.

Badgerwife, it sounds like your mum did the right thing!

Sep1712, some people do put far too much information on Facebook. Maybe they think no one will read it...
