I see the Liz Jones comments all the time, I don't read the Daily Mail and I don't know who she is.

I don't think anybody hates her, Brian. But no sane person can fail to find her risible on account of the bilge she writes. She talks about herself, in the main, yet demonstrates the self-awareness of desiccated brine shrimp.

I do like mocking self-involved people

she is self involved, no doubt, but as to her self-awareness that's another matter... there are some who think it's all an act. [undecided]

I don't feel comfortable the way she keeps getting slagged off for her looks.

It's difficult for people to have fellow-feeling though, never mind a sense of sisterhood, with someone who is frequently critical of other women and is so far up their own backside that they have practically resigned from the human race. But yes, I do take your point.
