Ok, keep meaning to ask:

I see the Liz Jones comments all the time, I don't read the Daily Mail and I don't know who she is.

Why the hatred? (willing to join in if it calls for it ) Wink

SWEET BABY MOSES

She's either had her face lifted or her ears lowered

God I'm being a bitch tonight

LeBOF · 29/01/2012 21:26

I don't think anybody hates her, Brian. But no sane person can fail to find her risible on account of the bilge she writes. She talks about herself, in the main, yet demonstrates the self-awareness of desiccated brine shrimp.

BrianCoxHasScaryHair · 29/01/2012 21:34

ahhh, thanks LeBof

Must have a read of some of her articles then.

I do like mocking self-involved people Grin

AitchTwoOhOneTwo · 29/01/2012 21:41

she is self involved, no doubt, but as to her self-awareness that's another matter... there are some who think it's all an act. [undecided]

I don't feel comfortable the way she keeps getting slagged off for her looks.

LeBOF · 29/01/2012 21:44

I don't really like it either, Brightness, but I suppose she invites comment to a certain extent because of her extreme vanity and preoccupation with looks herself.

BrightnessFalls · 29/01/2012 21:48

I know but it just doesn't feel very sisterly to me. Especially given her past.

SoupDragon · 29/01/2012 21:50

TBH, I've never seen any evidence of her being "sisterly"!

LeBOF · 29/01/2012 21:54

It's difficult for people to have fellow-feeling though, never mind a sense of sisterhood, with someone who is frequently critical of other women and is so far up their own backside that they have practically resigned from the human race. But yes, I do take your point.

AitchTwoOhOneTwo · 29/01/2012 22:01

i take your point, Brightness, and i profoundly don't care about it tbh. she's not any sister of mine.

liz's take on events. nicer first pic, smiling makes sense of the surgery, and as naff a last para as we have surely come to expect.

''I?ve mentored many (women) but, bar one or two exceptions, they have let me down, disappearing for years to have babies, forgetting they have a debt to repay, no thought of loyalty''

Disappearing for years to have babies! How very dare they!

Good old Liz, as mad as ever Grin

SoupDragon · 30/01/2012 07:37

That wasn't very sisterly of her , was it?

whatkungfuthat · 31/01/2012 10:12

Her regular new bleat is that women have babies to get a year off work Hmm

I know I'm a little rough round the edges in the morning but blimey.....

pooka · 11/02/2012 19:58

I think she looks better in the morning, make up free, than once she's put the face on.

Is it Rachel Johnston who writes those awful Notting Hill type novels that basically star her?

Funny enough those candid shots of KP are some of the nicest I've seen of her.
