Amanda Holden - what happened?

I've just heard on the news that Amanda Holden has spent the last 3 days in intensive care following the birth of her DD. As if that poor woman hasn't been through enough tragedy in her quest to have DC2. Does anyone know what went wrong?

No idea what went wrong with her.

Most women who end up in ICU post delivery have had massive blood loss. Good to know she's on the mend now.

Poor thing, I hope she and the baby recover well and that she gets lots of emotional and physical support around her to help her through the tough weeks ahead.

They said on radio that she had a very rough time in 2 previous pregnancies (late losses). Some people have such rotten luck. :(

Yes Ragged, she had a miscarriage (2nd trimester I think) then a stillbirth at 7 months.

Baby was in SCBU but is now fine, Mum was in ITU but is now recovering on a normal ward.

I'm not and never have been a fan of hers, but my God she has suffered :(
