Tesco 2005 Teddy

Hi all. In december my daughter left her teddy in Paris Charles De Gaulle airport, returning from disneyland. She is almost 7 and has had him since the day she was born. Before losing him, she never went anywhere or slept without him. I've tried to get him back but that looks impossible now, so I'm looking for a replacement, which is proving harder than I thought. This is a pic of him:

So far I have seen one on ebay that looks identical, but with a pawprint ribbon. I would have bought that but the listing had ended.

He was bought from tesco in 2005 by my sister-in-law

If any of you mums can help with sourcing a replacement I would be eternally grateful, and return the favour in any way required.

I was checking if I had any replies and this thread wasnt appearing on the 'im on' section, so I'm posting this in case no-one else can see my thread. Sorry if this violates any thread-bumping rules.

Looks a lot like the teddies I bought for my DTs.

We had one go on an extended holiday and I found a replacement on eBay. Fortunately I knew the make of it. Any idea if it was a brand name rather than just Tesco?

Have you tried asking Tesco? The right customer service rep would recognise this as a fantastic publicity opportunity.

Like Sainsburys, and the tiger/giraffe bread letter from the little girl.

@RedBlanket - that is very similar. It had tesco on the label so I'm guessing it was the generic cuddle me range, 2005 version.

@JambalayaCodfishPie - I did contact tesco, but they said there wasnt much they could do unless I had the barcode, which I obviously dont. I asked if they had an address I could mail a picture to, but they never answered that. Maybe I should try again.
