Has anyone blogged on Hitchens?

FWIW, I'm glad another writer did that post - I always feel a bit intimidated when writing about great writers, if that makes sense.

No, I haven't and am struggling to work out if I read any of his books. I seem to have missed out on his whole existence even. I had heard of him, but nothing has registered in my little brain...

Was interested however to see he is related to the DM columnist Peter Hitchens, who almost every time he writes something manages to wind me up to the extreme with his erm, very right of centre views.

Must have been interesting to be a fly on the wall at their Christmas lunches.

I went off Hitchens during the whole Iraq war thing, but I loved his profile as an atheist. I work in the media, and my Facebook is still clogged up with people sharing their Hitch stories so I'm all a bit "meh" about the whole thing!
