Ebay buyer not contacted me after 5 days and 2 emails, can I relist?

Not sure if this is the right forum, but don't know if I'll get into ebay trouble and I really wanted to have this thing collected this week.

Has anyone any experience of this?

You mean the auction finished 5 day ago & they haven't paid or replied yet?

Forget Etiquette, you need to follow Ebay rules (there is an Ebay forum on here, too, btw).
Personally I would give them a week before giving up, but I think Ebay rules would allow you to now start the process to annul your contract with them. You need to go to resolutioncentre.co.uk and follow the procedure outlined there. You can't relist until you've completely cancelled the contract with the npb, a process which takes a minimum 4 days (I think).
