I've just joined. I've updated my blog twice over the last two days, but I don't think it has appeared on the 'most recent posts' part of MN. Is there something that I need to do to have it appear here? Or is it because my blog was only added on Friday?

Many thanks.

Blog, for anyone interested, is theacutelymphoblasticleukaemiadiary.blogspot.com/

Hi Kinky - I've never been able to find myself on Most Recent Posts - not on any page! and ones that were posted way after mine are - do you know how long it took from you posting to it being up?

Aworkingmum · 12/12/2011 11:06

I noticed that my posts don't appear either, not sure why.

Pretty quickly, but they were a few pages in, not on page 1 where you'd expect the most up-to-date.

Thanks - just looked through the first 15 pages and still can't see it, will have to try to find out if I'm doing something wrong!

Well I've just posted, it took a few moments to appear but I'm 3rd one down as i type this.

Not sure why other updates aren't appearing straight away (or at all!)

Hi all,

A few of our users have trouble finding themselves in the 'most recent posts' feed. Sometimes they're not looking carefully, but sometimes it's a technical glitch. If you email [email protected] we can look into it for you and sort out any technical errors.

With many blog platforms, your blogpost's date will appear as being the day you began the post, not the day you ended it. This can result in you appearing quite far back in our recent posts feed, because our feed uses the date and time stamp which appears on your blogpost. You can change this manually on your blog if you're worried about it, or you can draft your blogposts in a word processing programme and only upload them when you want to hit 'publish.'

ATOmum, you're definitely in our feed - we've checked. If you drop us an email at [email protected], we can help you find your blog in our feed.

Thanks Ellen - sorry, been so busy over Christmas its the first time I've had a chance to check this thread! Will drop you an e-mail if I can't find a post again!

Just checked the time stamp for my blogposts and realised it was set to GMT-8hours - god knows why!, so my posts were being listed 8 hours before I published them, that's why I couldn't find them! All fixed now, thanks Ellen!
