Badgerwife from the packaging I think it is similar to the milky bars. Both made by Nestlé anyway (yes I boycott their milk but I am sorry so sorry I can't boycott their chocolate) Blush

Badgerwife · 15/12/2011 17:10

That's alright, I find myself unable to boycott Golden Grahams...

Hey badgerswife, lowimpact, and YMR -- now that I've had a chance to get on a PC your fb pages have been liked!

Did a quick post today about how that damn John Lewis advert exposes me a sad sap who needs help.

CoffeeMummy · 15/12/2011 21:40

Oooh I'm a bit behind on my blogging writing and reading at the moment. For that reason I have a 2 for 1 deal on my posts at the moment Xmas Smile

Topics: this is what I've been up to recently

and this is the book I'm reading and enjoying just now.

I'll be catching up on some of your posts tomorrow - ciao til then Xmas Wink

DillyTinsel · 15/12/2011 22:40

Evening all,

Enjoying all the posts. Well done on your book Freesias.

I know I show boycott Nestle too, but I found a 4 pack of Caramac in Poundland the other day and I couldn't resist. Although the Frothers have given me a reason to boycott Poundland now. I should basically just stop shopping - for many reasons!

DD1 and I made fudge for her teachers today

our new life in America, taking risks.
First blog of 2011!! Was an active blogger in 2010!!

Flubba · 16/12/2011 06:10

Morning all. I am a rookie and have just had my wee blog for two weeks now. I joined the MN bloggers network yesterday so am a total newbie too. Would be grateful for any advice about what I should be doing! Xmas Confused :)

MmeLindor. · 16/12/2011 07:58

Flubba
Lovely blog. I like the way you do the pictures in a little photo show. I am totally non-crafty, but your instructions look good and easy to follow.

The only thing I would say is that the title of the blog is slightly difficult to read. Maybe use a less busy picture, or change the writing to white so it shows up better?

And when you link to your blog, link to the specific post rather than just the blog, then you get a better idea of which posts are popular.

MmeLindor. · 16/12/2011 07:58

Coffeemummy
jealous of your Edinburgh trip. Well done on the writing assignment. Will look out for that publication.

Flubba · 16/12/2011 08:06

Thank you for taking the time to have a look and comment MmeLindor - all advice gratefully received :) I'll get around to changing the title format.

Libran · 16/12/2011 08:40

Published my latest blog post last night re my little boy's Nativity costume: bishopstonmum.blogspot.com :-)

Badgerwife · 16/12/2011 09:16

Flubba nice blog, and welcome to the fold!

We are going to taste some Stollen over the holidays and, ahem report our findings...

FlamingoBingo · 16/12/2011 09:44

Welcome Flubba Smile Nice blog!

Today I've written about how to have a guilt-free Christmas.

Flubba · 16/12/2011 10:30

That's a lovely post Flamingo.

I did the fabric advent calendar thing this year for that very reason, and the Little People have been loving it!

FB
Loved that post, so so fitting for the times. Did you get published in your local paper?

Flubba
Like the new title :)

Everything is amazing and nobody is happy - after watching a talk show where the comedian talks about how technology is fecking amazing. (my words not his).

PetiteRaleuse · 16/12/2011 12:32

FB great post, have commented. Flubba lovely blog and I like the list of Advent activities and how you decided it together (I'm busy thieving Christmas and Advent traditions for 2012 onwards so consider that one nicked!)

MmeL I agree techniology is fecking amazing, though after four weeks almost I still pretty much hate my iPhone - for me it is a step too far as I feel I now have nowhere to run or hide from my in laws.

I have blogged this afternoon about a hypothetical war between the UK and France. I was wondering what other expats / immigrants in France or elsewhere feel about what I wrote.

Trills · 16/12/2011 12:53

Just done lots of "open in new tab" and clicking :)

FlamingoBingo · 16/12/2011 13:08

Thanks everyone :)

MmeLindor - yes, it was in my paper last month :)

Re technology. To my shame, I 'blagged' last month! It's a Striiv - I'm reviewing it as a postnatal fitness thingymajig and actually I think it's pretty cool. Will post a link when I've written the post!

MmeLindor. · 16/12/2011 13:22

FB

Are you famous in your town now?

DillyTinsel · 16/12/2011 18:06
