Finding your niche

How long did it take you to work out what you wanted to primarily write about? What do you write about?

I'm just curious as I enjoy writing about bits of everything, my blog is more of a personal one as opposed to one with actual, interesting content! I'm still working out what my niche will be if I decide to focus on anything and want some ideas

Mine was easy - first started reading blogs when deciding to home educate, so a nice little niche marked out already.

Lots of blogs on here are cooking/crafts/newsy... I think the important thing is to start writing, then it will probably take on a shape all of its own.

Recently I have blogged a lot more about current affairs but I still do the occasional recipe or travel post. I also blog about social media quite a bit.

You don't have to find a niche. A lot of people tell me that they like that my blog is rambling diverse.
