Well, it's about time.

Now all we need are furnishings and decorations...Wink

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 21/11/2011 22:03

Thanks for sparing my blushes, LadyD.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/11/2011 22:04

I expect everyone's gone to look, now...

LadyDamerel · 21/11/2011 22:06

::tut:: The things one has to do, for the education of one's fellow Academians. I hope you appreciate the stress involved in reviewing that clip for the fifth second time, Smallio.

The aforementioned segment is from 2:26.

LadyDamerel · 21/11/2011 22:07

Rest assured, Spiro will have spotted it immediately, Massive Grin.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/11/2011 22:14

::Surveys the wreckage::

So, I take it you approve of Professor Maud's latest research, then?

::Wonders what her chances are of being nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature (Bibliotheque de Youtube division)::

TransylvanianVampiress · 21/11/2011 22:15

Ah I seeConfused I think? Not sure I would have made that connection without your, shall we say, guidance Lady D!!Wink

And oh my my my!! Leather clad peaches!! Too much for too late in an evening!!BlushGrin

TransylvanianVampiress · 21/11/2011 22:16

Certainly nominate you for an MBE Maud for Services to Academians!Grin

LadyDamerel · 21/11/2011 22:18

A very proud Maud collects her award.

TheSmallPrint · 21/11/2011 22:19

Blimey Massive are you a bit hormonal? I wouldn't have spotted that in a million years! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/11/2011 22:19

Oh, and Sigmund will be here in a moment but he sent a message to say he would have to charge double his hourly rate, because even he can't be expected to deal with such warped minds!

SupermassiveLBD · 21/11/2011 22:20

Approve is not the word, Maud. Salivate is more accurate

Thank you from the bottom of my smutty little heart.

TheSmallPrint · 21/11/2011 22:20

Grin at Maud collecting her award.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/11/2011 22:21

I am glad to be recognised as one of the foremost intellectuals of the 20th and 21st century, LadyD.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/11/2011 22:23

I would never have noticed myself, Small and Maud, but after what the producers are supposed to have said about the fountain in the Marian kebab scene, I couldn't help wondering if it was deliberate.

LadyDamerel · 21/11/2011 22:23

::sets Small 100 lines::

I must develop a smuttier mind.
I must develop a smuttier mind.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/11/2011 22:23

::whispers::

It is better than the other vid that uses the song, methinks, and knowing that the song has vampirish overtones adds a certain frisson, perhaps.

LadyDamerel · 21/11/2011 22:25

@ Massive.

::sniffs::
There's a funny smell in here
::sniffs again::
It smells like
::sniff sniff::
Cows, I think.
::sniff sniff sniff::
Nope, sorry, my mistake. It's cow poo.

Wink.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/11/2011 22:26

Hmm I was quite fond of that other vid, Maud.

Or maybe it was just the idea I found so attractive.

TransylvanianVampiress · 21/11/2011 22:26

Someone mention vampires?!Hmm

::secretly pleased that Small is getting the lines and her own naivety has been overlooked/ignored!::

SupermassiveLBD · 21/11/2011 22:28

Aren't lines against one's human rights, these days?

TransylvanianVampiress · 21/11/2011 22:30

Probably massive! Probably cruel to pens and paper or something completely absurd like that!Hmm

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/11/2011 22:31

The song is the theme song from True Blood, Vampy or a home video, as you might call it. Being an old fogey too much of an intellectual, I had not seen True Blood until last week, so hadn't made the connection before.

I didn't say the other vid didn't have its merits, Massive, just that this one possibly had more of them. Not that I would know, as if the cravat quotient isn't high enough I lose interest.

TransylvanianVampiress · 21/11/2011 22:36

::whispers:: I've never seen True Blood either. Bit too close for comfort I suppose ConfusedGrin

SupermassiveLBD · 21/11/2011 22:38

Neither have I seen it, Vamps. But I embrace the sentiment of those lyrics, where Gizzy is concerned

LadyDamerel · 21/11/2011 22:40

Is True Blood like the Twilight films, then?

I hadn't noticed the vampiric tendencies of the other Wanna Do Bad Things vid I'm usually too busy compiling my list of all the Bad Things I would like to be doing to Gizzy.
