Well, it's about time.

Now all we need are furnishings and decorations...Wink

I've just realised I haven't told you about my dream last night. Sort of a dReAm but not a dReAm Grin. The Man wasn't in it but all of you were - we were at the zoo and MrM came to join us for our picnic. He was very handsome with gorgeous brown eyes, Massive; you're very lucky Grin.

I worry about what's going on in my psyche sometimes.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/11/2011 21:48

I have always been convinced that MrM is tres tres beau.

I didn't mention it before because it was a bit of a non-event but Shh You Know Who appeared in one of my recent dreams. In the street, a tv reporter shoved a microphone in his face to ask him a question, to which he replied that he was a jobbing actor and didn't know the answer and then walked off. He had curly brown hair not unlike this. That's all I can remember.

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 21:49

Well, I suppose he does have brown eyes! All the rest is moot Grin

My dreams were even worse. I'd got a cleaner in, and she'd ripped up the carpeting in the hall without so much as a by your leave. I was still feeling all aggrieved hours after I got up, even though I could see the carpet was still in situ Blush

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/11/2011 21:53

But you forget, Massive. I am controlling your brain from afar, so when you look at MrM I can see him.

::cue spooky music::

TheSmallPrint · 27/11/2011 21:56

We're dreaming about Mr M now???

Twigs, could do this Friday?

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 21:59

Grin @ Small.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/11/2011 22:02

We are not dreaming of MrM. LadyD is dreaming of MrM and I am watching him through my supernatural powers.

TransylvanianVampiress · 27/11/2011 22:03

Evening all. Still in the corner just lurking listening. Mother Colonel has taken a turn for worse so bit Sad

LOL at our dReAms!Smile

But on a totally different subject. Out of interest what do you say/think is grammatically correct between [I have a cup of tea]: "in a morning"; "on a morning"; "of a morning"; or "in the morning"? Friend was posing question on FB and it got me thinking that one of you would probably know the grammatically correct answer! Think I'd say none as I don't like tea very much!!WinkGrin

So MrM is a bit of alright is he then?!Grin. You bringing him to the commune?

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 22:03

So it's your 'fluence that's causing me to be obsessed with leather-clad-whatever-else-it-wases, Maud?

Phew. that's....something of a relief, in a twisted sort of way.

TheSmallPrint · 27/11/2011 22:03

Is that a no? Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 22:07

In the morning, I would say. Or even in the mornings.

but then what does an ex-pat with a bit of all right DH know?

TheSmallPrint · 27/11/2011 22:07

Hi Vamps. Sorry about your MIL, sending you all hugs and prayers.

Definitely 'in the morning'

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 27/11/2011 22:08

In the morning is grammatically correct. Of a morning is a dialect variant of that (I think) in some parts of the country. The rest, as far as I know, are just wrong!

No, no, no, Massive. That is all your own doing. Or undoing, if MrM ever finds out.

LadyDamerel · 27/11/2011 22:09

::sends big hug to Vampy::

The other news I forgot to impart is that the bottle of Gizzy I purchased last week is absolutely delicious.

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 22:10

Yes, I forgot to mention, Vamps, so sorry about the colonel's mum..

'Of a morning' sounds a bit more regional to me.

TheSmallPrint · 27/11/2011 22:12

Lady D where did you getthe Gizzy, I have to taste him it now.

TransylvanianVampiress · 27/11/2011 22:13

Thanks ladies!!

I too think "in the morning" is right. "of a morning" is slightly antiquated I think. As for the others definitely No! But maybe regional? Either way pleased to know I speak Inglish proper-like!!Wink

Sweet dReAms all!! Smile

SupermassiveLBD · 27/11/2011 22:14

So Gizzy is delicious. And this is news?

So i have no one but myself to blame for then, Maud?

TransylvanianVampiress · 27/11/2011 22:14

Ps glad the Gizzy tastes good!! Must look him it out!Smile

TheSmallPrint · 27/11/2011 22:16

Night Vampy Smile

LadyDamerel · 27/11/2011 22:17

And I would say 'in the morning' but 'of a morning' is used up here a lot by people who don't talk proper like.

Massive, I did chuckle at you having the hump with the dream cleaner for the rest of the day!

LadyDamerel · 27/11/2011 22:19

Smallio, you want to take a trip to Morrison's.

TheSmallPrint · 27/11/2011 22:21

Ah we have one of those near here, I may make a special trip.

DumSpiroSpero · 27/11/2011 22:25

Interesting - I would say 'in the morning', but 'of a morning' immediately made me think of my dad, who spent his early childhood as an evacuee in Yorkshire, so the dialect thing makes complete sense.

No, he's all yours, Massive.
