Well, it's about time.

Now all we need are furnishings and decorations...Wink

Oh Spiro, it seems there is no hope for any of us, then.

ROFL @ AAA

DumSpiroSpero · 25/11/2011 23:40

I suspect Mr Spiro has long since abandoned all hope as far as I'm concerned.

::Wonders whose bootlaces LadyD has tied (and whose thigh she has been stroking) as Maud and Mr Thornton have long since left the common room in search of somewhere less noisy::

::Concludes that LadyD should have gone to Specsavers::

SupermassiveLBD · 25/11/2011 23:46

Are you sure they were boot laces, then, LadyD, in view of what Maud has just said?

TransylvanianVampiress · 25/11/2011 23:48

Hellloooooo!!!! I've drunk the bet part of a bottle of wine and never wanted Sargebt Porter more. Having spent the evening with a whole range from baby 20 year old navy officer to a Brigadier - I need my Sargent JP and now!!! WinkGrin the baby naval officer would have done but Lady D told me what goes for a toy boy and 20 is too young [boo-hoo]

So have I missed anything exciting - will
Catch up tomorrow. xxx

DumSpiroSpero · 25/11/2011 23:51

Sounds like you've had one too many fun Vampy!

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 25/11/2011 23:53

Vamps sounds full of the joys, after her military soiree. Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/11/2011 23:53

::Pauses::

Sounds like Vampy may be under the affluence of incohol.

SupermassiveLBD · 25/11/2011 23:55

We sound like the three wise monkeys...

DumSpiroSpero · 25/11/2011 23:59

Speaking of which take a look at this. If you scroll down to the 'long list' you'll see one of our Academisms nearly made it!

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 26/11/2011 00:03

I certainly think ours was the best, Spiro. But I rather heart fracking, too.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/11/2011 00:05

::Pauses::

Tee hee. I have a horrendously early start tomorrow, so must be orf.

. See ya!
LadyDamerel · 26/11/2011 00:08

::crawls back under chaise longoo to check knots::

::wonders why MrT has taken to wearing leather trews and stompy boots::

Hahahaha @ Vampy's drunken posting re. Sargebt Porter . Dr Track prescribes 2 paracetamol and several pints of water in the morning, my dear.

LadyDamerel · 26/11/2011 00:11

Night Maud. Having realised it's gone midnight I'm also away to my bed.

A demain, ladies (I use the term loosely Grin).

SupermassiveLBD · 26/11/2011 00:13

Hmm LadyD, rather defeated your own purpose, with those knots, didn't you?

Bitey knight, Maud.

DumSpiroSpero · 26/11/2011 00:13

Fracking sounds incredibly rude though - a bit like thrutching (which I have just discovered has all sorts of mind-boggling connotations).

I must be away too - can't seem to do late nights at the mo for some reason.

Sweet dReAms!

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 26/11/2011 07:12

Morning all. I am fracking tired today.

I did giggle at affluence of incohol - I am going to steal that one :)

Hope you had a fabulous night, Vampy! How's the head this morning? Wink I feel slightly hungover actually but I don't know why as we only shared a bottle of wine Hmm

Gotta go do the breakfast shift now. OI! WHO DID THAT?!

TransylvanianVampiress · 26/11/2011 07:32

Morning!! Fat thumb syndrome obviously is worse after a glass or 4 of wine!! I'm impressed though that my crossing out worked!!Grin

Feel fine this morning so far! Grin

Did have good night despite the fact I was the youngest there after the 20yr old navy boy!

Fracking is a word I know well having experienced two earthquakes caused by fracking!

I think face palm would have made it if accompanied by our picture!Smile

Off to see if I missed any gems of intellectual discussions!

TransylvanianVampiress · 26/11/2011 07:33

Oh and twigs I'd blame lady D as she was under the chaise longoo. Grin

TransylvanianVampiress · 26/11/2011 08:04

Ah I feel stoopid now - about the shoe laces. I'd only read lady D was under there with Gizzy's leather boots Grin

Just showed the colonel that confession - he just half-smiled and looked like thisHmm. Methinks he may be in agreement!Grin

Some lovely klinkys from yesterday. ::sigh:: sorry to hear about your near-miss Lady D. Could have been worse you could have dropped Lucas in the salmon!!Grin

right better consider getting up......

.....ok I've thought about it. That'll do for now! Hope you all have good days. Think we may be putting our Christmas tree up! It is advent Sunday tomorrow afterall!Smile

TransylvanianVampiress · 26/11/2011 08:05

Sorry Lady D I wasn't sighing at your misfortune but at the delectability of our muse. Smile

PassTheTwiglets · 26/11/2011 08:10

The shoelaces thing from last night made me laugh as I was reading it back this morning, so I thought I'd carry it on, is all :)

Thought about doing our tree tomorrow, when the kids come home, but think it might be the next weekend...

DumSpiroSpero · 26/11/2011 09:21

You are all very good mummies - I won't let Miss Spiro anywhere near the Christmas tree - it's going up next Friday when she's at school.

OP posts:
TransylvanianVampiress · 26/11/2011 10:36

Don't misunderstand me Spiro. I let the kids think they are in charge but if it doesn't go where I want it as I strongly suggest, I just move it all around later anyway!!Grin

Finally gave in and got an expensive real-looking artificial one last year as we are always away for most of the holidays do come home to dead tree is a real downer! I seem to remember it has it's own built in lights! Ah just remembered taking it Down in january! Dread to think what state we will find everything in - bearing in mind we packed it all away in freezing, wet house after the flood last year - although it was wet in the sitting room it was pretty damp in there. Already thrown out 3 pairs of shoes which have gone mouldy which we thought we'd dried properly!Sad

Grin
TransylvanianVampiress · 26/11/2011 10:38

Wasn't wet in sitting room!
Must learn to read through before posting!Grin
