Good evening all... I'm pretty new around here so I was just having a look around, a bit like a first year starting at big school, suddenly I feel very small. Anyway, I wanted to share something that has made my year, and it is all down to the wonderful connective power of the blogosphere.
My son has complex special needs (basically he's a medical mystery, but we don't like to brag), and one of the frustrating things I have found is finding decent children's books that feature special needs children, but manage to keep their sense of humour. Well having discovered possibly the most fabulous author on the planet, I decided to blog about it, and share the news with other mums with special needs children. Well, what do you know, today, all sparkily and special I found a comment from the author herself. I had to jump up and down and hug myself somewhere that the cool-ness of this would be appreciated, so I came here. Yay!
