Facebook questions

Good Morning fellow bloggers. I have a twitter account for my blog but am undecided about a facebook one. I haven't put my blog on my facebook account as I didn't really want everyone knowing my starting weight (virtual strangers I don't mind) - a few close friends have my blog address. If I set up a page for the blog will it link up with my contacts etc or can I keep it seperate from them? If I do create a page is it easy to link it on the blog - does it come under the gadget section.

Any advice much appreciated!

You can set a FB PAGE up from your personal account but it won't show on your personal account unless you actually share the page address with your friends. All your updates on that page will be as the page name (see mine - www.facebook.com/iamtypecast - my updates are as "Typecast", not "Nickie").

To import your blog post you will need to use a FB app called Networked Blogs (there are similar but this is the best I've found so far). It publishes on your page when you publish a blog post. It drags in from your RSS feed.

If you have a Wordpress.org account there are many many plugins that also post to Twitter and Facebook much better than Networked Blogs does.
