I don't want to give too much away here as I'm really not supposed to know about this but here goes.

Someone is doing some building work for 2 customers (husband and wife). Whilst alone in the house he finds some old photos of the wife hidden on top of an old cupboard that he is supposed to be destroying to make way for a new one. Polaroid, too saucy to be lying around but obviously taken a while ago.

Neither customer is around and neither come home by the time he is due to leave. Having disposed of the cupboard he doesn't like to leave the photos lying around so brings them home and panics about what to do with them.

He should discreetly give them back to the lady tomorrow yes?

No, he should discreetly leave them somewhere else in the room. On the window sill, tucked behind the curtain or something. The wife won't want to know he's seen them, or at least won't want to have to acknowledge it with him. He needs to leave them somewhere else in the house.

agree with hassled, once they realise they are missing, it won't take long for them to work out what must have happened and where they will have been, which will implicate him.

EverybodysScaryEyed · 01/11/2011 19:51

stick them under the mattress

how mortifying for her otherwise!

effingwotnots · 01/11/2011 19:52

Leave them somewhere equally obscure and out if view to save the embarrassment.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 01/11/2011 19:52

Burn them. They've probably forgotten all about them, and would be mortified if they turned up.

HildaOgdensMidden · 04/11/2011 11:03

Hard. If he leaves them somewhere else then she'll know he's seen them though, so it's almost better for him to just burn them in the hopes she's forgotten about them.

TBH she probably HAS, because otherwise why leave them in a place you know a builder is going to be looking? Unless she fancies the builder and it's a come-on!

CamperFan · 07/11/2011 18:39

I don't think burn them, because tonight they could be thinking "OMG, where are those photos?", and if they don't reappear, they could think the builder has taken them and kept them. Better he puts them somewhere that they can find them, but says nothing.

Methe · 07/11/2011 18:41

I'd burn them too.

Uglymush · 07/11/2011 18:51

I'd put them in an envelope and leave on top of the new wardrobe or the windowsill. They will be too embarrassed to say anything
