Petite, they are actually pages.
This is how you do them, and send me a PM if you want specifics.
First head into the Posting section, where you normally write your posts, and save drafts. On the top left hand corner, next to 'new posts' and 'edit posts' you will find a tab that says 'edit pages'. Click on it, and it will take you to the pages tab.
Click 'new page'.
Edit the content of the page, and then hit publish. Have a quick look at how I've structured my pages, so you can get an idea of what content they have.
Next, head into the Design section of the blog.
You'll now see a Pages gadget. Drag it to right below your header, so it sits in a long line just below your blog title.
Click on the 'edit pages' gadget. It will take you to a pop up page, that will offer you a chnace to edit which pages you want to show to the public etc. It also has a drag-and-chnage menu to change the order of your tabs. o for example, you have 'Home' 'About Me' 'Links' in your pages - you can change the order in the which they appear on your blog. Play around till you are comfortable with the order.
So, now you should see some pages that people can click on and be taken to, just under your header.
Now comes the exciting part :-) and you do need to be carfeul now to save unitl you are positive, otherwise you can lose your main template.
Click on 'Template Designer'.
Go to 'Advanced' on the left hand menu.
Click on Tabs Text.
Click on the font, size, colour and selcted colour for your page tabs text. You can see a live demo on your blog as this happens.
Once you are comfortable with the changes, click on 'Apply to Blog' on the top rigth hand corner, and you are done.
Let me know if you need any more help :) Happy pagemaking!
