My DH says similar - he says every single woman has something good going for her, looks wise, and that actually most men only really see the good.

When we were together at university he explained that men really actually like women and their bodies and are frankly unbotherd by a bit of flab, and men are actually just quite pleased that women are allowing themselevs to be chatted up.

Men are way nicer about women than women are.

I guess men just spend a lot less time being spiteful and judging other women than women do - and even if this is in the hope of sex, well, they probably wouldn't want to have sex with us if they didn't find us attractive!

He used to be really overweight himself though, I think he's just got that zealous thing of someone who's lost a lot of weight themselves and wants everyone else to feel fabulous. I rather like him, even though the programmes aren't my cup of tea.
