Linking to download a document on Blogger?

Hello all, I wonder if anyone can help me.

I have a Blogger blog, and I want to link to documents I've created (probably .pdf files) that people can download (patterns and such). Does anyone know of a way to do this?

I think that I've found a way using Google Documents, where I can create a public folder and put the documents in there for people to access. Is this the easiest way to do it do you think?

If you make it into a pdf. you should be able just to upload it to the blog. You can certainly do this on Wordpress by clicking on one of the upload buttons (there's upload media (video or image) or upload document).

There isn't really a way like there is on WP but I have found that if I upload the document to Scribd then I can use the embed code from there to make an interactive and downloadable document on my blog post.
