Replying to your own comments on blogspot

I seem to be able to leave comments on any other blogspot blogs, but not on my own. Is anyone else finding this? Or have I just set something up wrong? Just had a lovely comment and I want to reply...

It's OK. Have worked it out now. I'd done something wonky with the comment settings.

When you reply, does it show as a reply from you as the author of the blog? I can reply but it doesn't show up as a reply, just as another comment with nothing obvious to show it's me...
