Bloggers Network - Miscarriage Week - Guest Posts - Open for Non-Bloggers to Tell Their Stories

MmeLindor. · 30/09/2011 14:34

Some have offered on the other thread to host guest posts on their blogs.

This thread is to match up blogs with guest posters.

You may be a blogger, but the theme does not match in with your blog, or perhaps you are not a blogger but feel strongly about this and would like to get your story out there.

So please post here if you would like to host a guest post.

And those who are interested in writing, have a look at the blogs and contact the bloggers, either on the thread or via PM.

I will do a blog post about my own experiences, but am happy to host a blogger (or non blogger).

MMeL Have MN said anything about any sort of verbiage they'd like on the blogs, to link them/give MN's campaign some juice? Do you know if they are going to?

Tee
I have visitors till tomorrow but will email MNHQ tomorrow to find out what they want.

I thought I'd write an intro and do a link think on my blog or a badge doodah so that we can all link up.

Will ask MN when official kick off is - think Monday - so that we can all go live then.

Actually, will report this post and maybe MNHQ can say if this plan is ok.

Hi there bloggers,

Thanks for all your support, and MmeLindor thanks for all your organisational efforts. The Miscarriage Care Campaign starts on the w/c 10th October, so yes, that's Monday - we'd love it if you could post your blogs between Monday and Friday to concentrate all the action and maximise coverage.

I'll post links to the relevant Miscarriage Care and Code of Care pages on Monday so your posts aren't left stranded.

Right. Have done an into post so that we can test if the linky thing works and to give you a chance to link up to blog already.

Can someone try out the linkylist doodah - it will take you to another page to link, as it doesn't work on WP otherwise.

I hope that it will work.

Oh, and apparently you guys can put the link thing onto your blogs.

If you want to wait until I do the one on Monday, you can. Or try it out over the weekend and see if we get more hits going back and forth.

...

What? How? Who?
A blog hop is a linky list that is SHARED ON MULTIPLE BLOGS.

When several blogs put the same linky list code on their blog, the exact same list appears on each blog.

Blog visitors can submit their entries on any blog that contains the list. The entries will appear on each blog where the list resides.

Blog readers see the same list on each blog, and can "HOP" from blog to blog seeing the same list of links to follow: BLOG HOP!

By designating your linky list as a BLOG HOP, a link will appear below your linky list where your blog readers can get the blog hop code for your linky.

If you want to do a 'PRIVATE' blog hop, then do NOT check the blog hop checkbox, and simply share the code PRIVATELY with the other blog owners.

from here

That would be really good, cause we could all link up to each other. Wonder if MNHQ can link to the this.

I'm still willing to write something about my experiences but I have a DS-related issue with my laptop, by which I mean DS has removed several of the keys and I have no idea how to reattach them. I have my iPhone and can write something via email, does anyone have an email address they're willing to PM me that I can send it to?

The link thing is even better on blogger as it is right on your blog page.

You can sign up for a 30 day trial - I might pay after the 30 days if I feel it is bringing readers to the blog.

Hi, I'm happy to host, but will also do my own post - I'll get researching now (having not had a miscarriage, I'm doing a more general post)

Does anyone have some good pointers for research?

Could the bloggers post on here if they have a guest post planned, just so we can ensure that no one has been missed who would like to post.
