Personalised bed ideas - please help

Please help - my partner is a joiner and he is planning on producing a handmade single bed for my daughters 3rd birthday in a couple of weeks time.

I have been drafted in to generate an idea for personalisation but have no idea really as unfortunately i am not design minded. :-(

So far I have thought of:

• a 4 poster single bed
• princess bed
• name engraved out of the wood bed
• hearts and stars

and thats all i can think of without going into characters from TV shows which would be difficult i presume.

Any help would be appreciated no matter what the idea. What would you do??

A funny angled, old fashioned, solid wood type bed. The type that Goldilocks might stumble across. Or you may find in a Gingerbread house.
