Now I'm home and googled - no Brendan Coyle isn't who I thought he was. Not really my cup of tea compared the almighty PSM!! Smile

SupermassiveLBD · 06/10/2011 14:51

He is lovely and twinkly though RP. But that of course is an entirely different category from unbearably hawt.

Russianpony · 06/10/2011 15:23

Lovely and twinkly is what you want from your great uncle bob tho not for fantasising studying at great detail!Grin

TheSmallPrint · 06/10/2011 15:42

Afternoonio. Maud, I completely missed any repetition so don't worry yourself.

Yes Mr Coyle is more father figure than hot stuff to me, I do like to watch him though. Not in a 'hiding in the hedge with binoculars way' - just to clarify.

So, I have started the Halloween shopping. I have a zombie outfit for SB Major and two pumpkin bags for loot and a billion bags of spooky sweets for anyone brave to come down my dark and spooky path. Wooooooohhhhhh....

SupermassiveLBD · 06/10/2011 16:07

Any nice vampirey stuff, Smallio? Grin

Russianpony · 06/10/2011 16:59

Argh - I really hate Halloween!! Bit bah humbug about the whole thing!! Might just keep my curtains shut, lights out and hide under the sofa as I'm scared of ghosts and ghouls and adolescent youths demanding bigger and better sweets than I have!

Smile
DumSpiroSpero · 06/10/2011 17:12

I loathe trick or treat. Fortunately our sitting room is at the back of our house, and if we're just watching TV we tend to have the lights off anyway.

Having said that I am doing a little Halloween tea party for DD this year as we were given a load of Halloween decorations that someone was throwing out last year and it seems a shame to waste them.

I have limited to 6 kids, all of whose mums I am friends with though and have got some craft bits. By the time we've done that, apple & marshmallow bobbing, face-painting, touchy feely boxes and tea hopefully they won;t have the time or energy for lots of screaming. Hmm

'Jeremy' is the other vicar in VoD. I have no idea who the actor is, although I probably should. He's the main character chap in Downton ::must pay more attention::

DumSpiroSpero · 06/10/2011 17:20

Hugh Bonneville, Lady D.

Come for some escapism ladies - hit me with some good visionary topics to study this evening at my leisure!!!

Had a busy but productive day and need some down me time after I've taken Filly to gym, left her there, come home, bathed Colt, read to Colt, packed him up in the car, fetched Filly at 8pmShock, and put them both to bed

Off to the youtube library now for some quick sustenance.....!Smile

DumSpiroSpero · 06/10/2011 17:46

Thanks Spiro!! (having a little break before bath time!!Smile). Makes my heart melt when I see how he looks at Elizabeta in that first video! THUD!

Russianpony · 06/10/2011 18:29

Ohh nice, but a bit too much kissing other people who aren't me for my liking!!Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 06/10/2011 18:46

It's an assignment RP - watch set text and apply judicious use of your own imagination to increase enjoyment of the same.

At the moment you've got a C+ - I suggest you watch it a few more times again and keep practising! Grin

Russianpony · 06/10/2011 18:48

Oh I can imagine the neck kissing just fine! THUD!

SupermassiveLBD · 06/10/2011 18:53

It might not be neck-kissing, though, RP. It might just be vampire dinner-time.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/10/2011 19:00

As promised earlier, . We see Mr Thornton at his commanding and compassionate best here.

::collapses on Aubusson::

Russianpony · 06/10/2011 19:01

As the great grand-daughter of a Transylvanian Count I'm quarter vampire already so bring it on if it means I get some neck kissing!! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/10/2011 19:04

Did someone call for Nosferatu?

SupermassiveLBD · 06/10/2011 19:08

Oooh, Maud, this is one of my favourite bits. I shall watch it properly in a bit, minor crisis on here. {Nothing terrible, just vital (hah!) item mislaid)

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/10/2011 19:16

Yes, it's one of my favourite bits too.

We see dear Mr Thornton admit he made a mistake in not giving Mr Higgins work and it's the beginning of a cordial relationship between the two that I imagine must have been quite daring and radical in a novel of the time. And there's the matter of the expression on Mr Thornton's face when he asks 'Was it Miss Hale who told you to come to me?' and the look on Nicholas Higgins' when he asks whether Mr Thornton would have been more civil. I love everything about it.

Hope the missing object turns up soon.

I have been worrying that as well as royalty we also have a pregnant laydee here. Have we done the appropriate risk assessment?

PassTheTwiglets · 06/10/2011 19:18

Spent all morning icing niece's cake... went in to volunteer at school & was tasked with taking kids for a biscuit-icing session... came home and made a 2nd cake cake for niece's party (don't ask)... then iced fairy cakes with the kids after tea.

IF. I. SEE. ONE. MORE. CAKE. IN. THE. NEXT. 24. HOURS. I. WILL. SCREAM.

That is all. Back to your work.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/10/2011 19:31

Hmm. Can there be such a thing as a surfeit of cake?

PassTheTwiglets · 06/10/2011 20:01

Not a surfeit of eating it but definitely a surfeit of making it. Cake, cake, everywhere, nor any drop to drink....
