I recently turned down a job down south (I stay in Scotland) because I just couldn't wrap my head around having to move, sell flat, find new home and get daughter sorted in a new school in a town where I have no support/friends/family. As the start date got closer I just became more overwhelmed. Am I nuts? I'm know I'm going to have to make the move eventually... it just seems so much easier if I had a partner/husband to do it with. Anyway grateful for any stories from solo mums who have made the move to inspire me!
