Can I block individual people from seeing/posting on my wall?

I've had a look but can't seem to be able to do it, though I thought under the old style set up it was possible. Can anybody help?

Yes you can. There's a little dropdown arrow next to Home on the top bar. One of the options is privacy settings and you can block people. Or you can customise so that particular people only see limited info.
