Featured Bloggers List on "Out Bloggers" Mumsnet page

Are Mumsnet intending on changing the list of featured bloggers on the "Our Bloggers" page?

The list has remained constant for months and it would be really nice to see other well written pages being advertised.

As a reader, I am keen to have some recommendations of good blogs, but don't want to be stuck with the same 20 recommendations for ages! Also, I am sure bloggers would appreciate the opportunity to get on this page too. There are plenty of blogs around whos quality easily exceed some in the existing featured list (in my opinion), but are not written by "famous" people!

Thanks for raising this. We've been promoting a broad range of bloggers in lots of places - on the network and MN homepages, in newsletters, on Twitter and in a cross-site promo slot - but we want to promote a much broader range of the talent in the Featured Bloggers slot too. And we want to refresh that slot more regularly now that we have so many wonderful bloggers. You'll see some changes soon...

Oh, I had wondered about that.

The little box of featured bloggers seems to change every couple of days, though, doesn't it?

Yep - we swap that little box of four bloggers once a week because it's running across Mumsnet, so it's getting a lot of exposure. We'll give people in the longer Featured Bloggers slot more time so readers can get to really know their blogs. More from us on all the promo options, later this week...

I have just seen the main list of featured bloggers is now update! Thanks - although I know you didn't do it just for me :-)

I can see why you have put breadfortheboys at the top of the list, it is beautifully written, and it has given me two brilliant breadmaking ideas to do with the kids this morning! I doubt mine will look so good though :-)
