Well, I guess its technically still Saturday here in Canada, but I am operating on UK time Wink

Kicking off this week with my chilled cherry lemonade (vodka optional :))

I really like it when I make, photograph, write about and post the recipe all in the same day. Doesn't happen very often though, today is an exception!

Looking forward to seeing what you guys are coming up with for this week.

I'm starting a thread on my thoughts on stats ...

cyberfairy · 14/09/2011 11:25

Cheers Smile I think I just have end of summer (and maternity leave) blues. I admit I am not brilliant at commenting on blogs either-I think there is so so much on the net, people tend to flit through it and onto the next thing without really taking the time to comment-its like all the free music on the net has devalued music for me and stopped me obsessively listening to the same record I saved up for weeks to buy. God, I sound old! I need to make an effort to market blog or just treat it like a fun thing and not expect the moon on a stick...
mmm..moon on stick....

Cyber there is a lot in the web your right but you have to find what appeals to you personally and not get caught up in the hype.

That's when blogging becomes personal and people can relate

That's just my personal opinion anyway Smile

Cheria · 14/09/2011 13:30

Here is my second post of the day.

I only ever post twice when something really really gets me angry.

stitchthis · 14/09/2011 15:48

A rant about the Secret Plan of David Cameron

Tee2072 · 14/09/2011 20:49

MmeL I adore the title of your entry!

Why we still use a baby monitor, 27 months on

Tee2072 · 14/09/2011 20:50

Sorry, not the title, MmeL, but the first sentence.

::tee should go to bed::

MmeLindor. · 14/09/2011 20:50

Aha! A fellow WW fan?

Tee2072 · 14/09/2011 20:51

I watch then entire box set while stuck on the sofa with a young baby! I love love love that show!

MmeLindor. · 14/09/2011 20:57

Me too. I have watched it so often, that I recite the lines before CJ or Josh can say them. "woot canal"

breadfortheboys · 14/09/2011 22:46

Oh dear, I must be tired as it took me a few moments to work out if we were still pre-17th Sept!

Here is my latest post about bread. I'm quite exciting as I've been given permission to reproduce a recipe from one of my very favourite books!

Tee I am still fairly dependent on using the baby monitor - even for my three year old!

Waldorfhome · 14/09/2011 23:55

My blog is very new, this will only be my sixth post.

It's just a quick blog post about the first of our nature tables, which has just gone up.

I am very sadly saying goodbye to summer with this post... the temperature is dropping sharply here, and I am wearing sweaters... already!

My rant about punctuality www.purplemum.com/2011/09/rant-about-punctuality/, sorry

MmeLindor. · 15/09/2011 07:46

ScatCat
I commented on your blog, and tried to click on the link to your favourite asparagus recipe but it came up blank. Is it still on the blog? I then searched for asparagus, but the posts found are without pics.

MmeLindor. · 15/09/2011 07:51

Waldorfhome
Interesting blog. I am always in awe of people who home-ed, I would not have the patience.

Tee2072 · 15/09/2011 08:09

I commented on yours Purple as it's one of my pet peeves. I hate people being late.

Overreactionoftheweek · 15/09/2011 08:29

Some great posts this week!

I've got a new feature coming up on FYP tomorrow. I'm interviewing parents of older children about how they 'freed their parenting', and I'm hoping that, as the blog grows, I'll get some big names on there! It's going to be a monthly feature, I think.

Oh, oh, and The Portland Hospital are going to RT all my bfing and babycare posts! Really excited about that (not that I'm a massive fan, but, you know, slebs go there!...)

FlamingoBingo · 15/09/2011 08:41

Overreaction - x-posts Smile Liked your post today a lot as well!

MmeLindor. · 15/09/2011 08:42

That is great, FB.

I like the idea of posts for parents of elder children. So many parenting guides concentrate on the baby/toddler years.

I am finding more and more that I am growing out of the mummyblogs, as I just don't relate to them anymore.

Commented on your post about sleep training, Overreaction. Good post.
