Photos across top of page

my privacy settings on my "profile picture" album are set to "everyone". However when I go to preview my profile, I don't have a row of my old profile pics across the top of my profile. How do I change this?

The row you get at the top of your profile are the pictures you have been recently tagged in, so it wont show your own pictures unless you tag yourself?
