a colleague of mine asked for my address when dd was born in feb so she could send a gift. She lives in New York but we spoke regularly when I was at work and struck up a good friendship (she's a lot more senior to me tho)
Anyway the gift never arrived. I don't know if she never got round to posting it or if it got lost in post. She hasn't responded to my subsequent chatty msg and I'm concerned this might be because she is put out I haven't thanked her for the gift? I might be overthinking this...
So what do I do? Ask her if she sent sthg or just keep quiet?
